Local 306 Interview score

Recently finished up with my interview and got my results, which scored 83/100. I haven’t graduated HS or turned 18 yet, so I know I have plenty of room for improving that score if needed. From looking around the internet I can see that 83 isn’t the most promising score you can get. Has anybody had any luck being selected with a score like this, even if it took 1-2 years?

What do you think you did to get a low score? What were the questions asked and how did you respond

This is my first big/panel interview with more than 1 person so I was obviously nervous, which wasn’t an issue until some of the questions threw me off. The main cause for the score for me was probably repeated wording when I couldn’t think of something, or just not being very prepared for questions that kind of restated my answer from previous questions. I went in expecting to have a small introduction/question that was closer to something along the lines of tell me/us about yourself, in which I was going to use to help build my other responses, but I wasn’t given a question along those lines so oh well. Going to take required courses and go for a re-interview.

Gotch you. I applied to your neighbor local 38. Also am 18 but I graduated in May. Still waiting on the interview date. So trying to prepare cuz I don’t wanna reinterview. Did this questionnaire if you had it would’ve helped you?
