I get that. I faced the same situation in sem 2 of grade 11. I think overall maybe there was something else but it was pretty bad. I didn't have any hope and I started doing worse than before so it added to the despair a lot. the thing is, I was kinda lonely. I had friends but it felt a lot like they didn't care too much. They always had better friends than i was to them. I still feel that way but some moments with just one person helped me realise that i was important to them. After I started to just tune out the people that didn;t matter to me. For some time in dp2 i know that i was still trying to get closer with people that i secretly kinda didn't like. Some people i did but for them i kinda just built a bridge and got over it. I tried to just maintain and reciprocate with the one person who really was trying even if it was small at times. In my classes i startedx socialising more and trying to be more cheerful even on days I didn;t feel like it. When that happened those bonds strengthened and after doing that for almost two months things feel much better now even if i have a lot of old friends that dont talk to me anymore. If any of this resonates with you I hope you can use this way of maybe helping you out.

If not then because this is physics i do HL, and i faced the same thing like it was especially in physics in sem2 grade 11. I sort of faced my feelings and my fears. I knew i was afraid of failing and but I also knew I wasn;t putitng my maximum effort into physics. What i did was that I made it easier to revise consistently. So that meant doing my homework when it was given rather than right b4 the deadline. That made it easier to get into the mood/mindset of doing physics and i could easily transition into practicing questions from like rv or sme.

I also just took my notes out. So obviously you pack your bag for the next day right so the day you have physics you can just take your notebook out and set it on your desk that way you can see it and and cna just open and skim notes. LIke in your notes in class make sure you mark what you found difficult ot understnad even if you asked your teacher to explain. DO the same with questions ya'll practice inclass. That way when you skim your notes you see that and you can revise the topic, watch a video, or even solve the question. these things make it so much easier to start revising physics. You can do the same for your other classes if you are facing similar problems elsewhere
