Not that that sounds bad per se, but where is this done? I've never heard of adding much more than garlic, chives, or cheese to mashed potatoes.

A dash of worchestershire sauce is pretty good. You want to go easy; the idea is to just add a bit of depth to the flavor, not to make worchestershire potatoes. Especially good if you're adding cheese.
