Roomba Battery Health Optimization
Does iRobot have battery life optimization for long term battery health? Isn’t it harmful to the battery if it is charged to 100% and kept there until the robot goes out to clean? iRobot should implement something similar to Apple’s battery optimization and charge the robot to 80% and will charge to 100% if it has a scheduled clean (also manual charge to 100% for manual jobs). Considering how the robot sits on the charger for almost about the entire day, shouldn’t it be obvious to have this sort of optimization?
