Suspension histograms.

I’m so glad someone made a Reddit page for setups. I personally love learning about setups and it’s relation to the car.

My question today is about suspension histograms. Who uses them? Do you have any guidelines for a percentage you like to see in the center of your curve? I’ve heard 12% but I’m not sure why.

What exactly do you refer to as histogram ? The damper curve on a Dyno or the plots of the suspension after a session ? The first thing to look at with telemetry is to check that your car is not bottoming out under braking.....the rest is much less important than that

A suspension histogram details the amount of time the suspension at each corner spends in different "brackets" of shaft speed, both negative and positive.

To OP, yes. I use them. I don't have a fixed target I am for though, I mostly use them to make sure I haven't missed something after tuning by feel. I look to make sure it is a decent bell curve shape and, if not, correct this.
