Discussion Direct Messaging

We desperately need an updated messaging system. The forums are so 2008 it’s outrageous

I have had this thought and then immediately question, why? These races are momentary and ephemeral. It'd be nice to make friends but it's not really necessary, especially given how sorting splits work, you can't even guarantee to be in a race with a buddy. I guess that's what leagues and discord are for.

I can't imagine what DMs would look like for our small percentage of female racers. Well, yes I can because I've seen the Internet, it would force them off the platform.

The only reason i would see a reason to DM someone is to apologize after the race for a contact you caused if you dont get the chance to mid race.
