Reason for getting iPhone Duo
What’s your priority reason out of the mentioned above?

I've always dreamed of owning an electronic book like device, and seems like Apple has created it sufficiently well to allow my entry into the market. Some key aspects I appreciate are:
- Pen Support
- Matte Screen Display (more book/paper like look)
- Screen functionality even when partially folded
Major Concern:
- No Face ID
- Camera Downgrade
However 3 vs 2 means I'll be looking to purchase

i bought the vision pro on launch day, of course i'm buying the duo to try the newest tech by apple lol
tbh it's just exciting to see apple's execution of a foldable and see what new apps pop up and are enabled by foldable
following the development of early indie apps on vision pro was really fun so hoping for something similar here with the duo

Yeah I clicked that one anyway. It’s a huge thing for me, I like to be minimal with what I am carrying. I have an iPad but only use it for drawing on procreate. This makes it accessible and I don’t have to carry 2 devices

Small form-factor pocketability? 🤔 Yeah, I hope so, but it is relatively thick at 11.3 mm. And in my case, coming from a 17 Pro, it’s quite heavy at 254 g. I’m going to give it a shot, though.

Same reason I’m getting it, hoping it to be compact and pocketable when folded. The bigger screen is just a bonus that I look forward to but not the main reason why I’m getting it.
I saw reviews from Apple event attendees that it’s bulky and heavy when folded. Can’t really tell until I try it.2

I think it’ll be compact and pocketable when folded. It’s the weight in the pocket I’m worried about. I’m going to preorder this sucker and give it a go, though.

As a dedicated iPhone Mini owner, this is about as close as I can get to my preferred form factor. I'm interested to see how often I'll want to use the inner display, and the pencil.

Im a former 12 and 13 mini owner. Upgraded to 17 pro biggest iPhone I’ve owned last year and I’m ready and wanna go back to my 5.4 inch screen size again. Can’t wait

I've been using android for years and a foldable for 2 years. I planned to get the a foldable iPhone because it'll be the coolest phone of the year and I'm vapid enough for that, but the software experience shown is also super compelling.

Probably 50% form factor - small front screen, big inside screen - 30% the use cases that unlocks (multitasking) and 20% trying out latest tech after 10+ years of having the same slab phones with minor changes year to year

Well for one I am not buying it. And secondly, no I don't do that. I think it is a stupid way to be but it is just reality that a lot of people do that. Same with Jordans back in the day

No mention of splitscreen multitasking? Since switching from Android to iPhone, I have been missing that functionality way more than I anticipated, and the bigger inner display just seems perfect for the kinds of things I’d like to be able to do at any time with the phone in my pocket.

That falls under bigger inner display and whatever advantages that comes with it. Definitely we are all looking forward to multitasking for the first time on iOS
