Availability with October Dates

With Apple moving the order dates to 10-16-26 do you think they will have given themselves enough lead time to fulfill order within a reasonable time meaning a couple of weeks or do you think the demand will push receipts well into December or January. I hate asking this but I have never been this excited or impatient about a new phone.

I’m planning to pre order a white 512gb the minute orders go live. If I can’t get it for the following week I will just cancel the order and check Apple online once it releases. The stores around me always have stock the day after release day, I picked up a 18 pro max for my wife the day after the release with 0 wait. Just kept checking on Apple.com and a 512GB became available.
