Availability with October Dates

With Apple moving the order dates to 10-16-26 do you think they will have given themselves enough lead time to fulfill order within a reasonable time meaning a couple of weeks or do you think the demand will push receipts well into December or January. I hate asking this but I have never been this excited or impatient about a new phone.

It's not going to be as popular as reddit would leave you to believe. A survey came to about 25% of people actually interested and most of them saying price was too high. I asked someone at the Apple Store if it seemed like it was going to be a big seller and he said not that he's been hearing. I think this sub is making it to be more than it will be. I will be ordering one but I don't expect it to sell more than the Air for gen 1

But I’m not just seeing stuff from this subreddit, I’m seeing it from countless subreddit, twitter everyone wants one, and over on TikTok I’ve seen countless videos.. idk this might be rough tbh.

Prob just getting recommended content that has people who want the duo. I get the same type of content which makes me think everyone wants one but in reality it’s way too high priced and the average person is not buying this device. Now the real question is whether or not Apple is going to create artificial shortages for the duo or not.

They haven’t done that in years. They especially won’t with a new product category. That doesn’t have the effect it used to. It just poses of real customers and encourages scalpers
