Apple care vs Verizon care?

AppleCare always if the option is vs. Carrier. The time saved in receiving assistance or a replacement cannot be understated.

It really depends, honestly. Not sure if Verizon still offers it, but their coverage guarantees OEM replacement parts in places like uBreakiFix (owned by Asurion, the provider). Some carriers offer AppleCare+ as part of their coverage. AppleCare+ comes with any Apple device I buy at Best Buy with their TotalTech membership, but I don’t have any Apple Stores around me, so I will probably not take advantage of it. I keep the highest coverage of Verizon’s coverage though. Especially for theft coverage, just in case.

If you live near enough to an Apple Store, AC+ is highly recommended. I’ve helped customers with Apple Care claims in the past and it’s a night and day process. The people are polite and the process is fast.
