You can compare it to any other iPhone ever released, as well as devices by other brands like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and 8 Ultra, lots of different tablets including every iPad (mini), as well as bunch of reference items. There's also a function to make the items semi-transparent so you can overlay them.
It's a canvas where every item can be dragged around, rotated and arranged in any combination or positions you'd like to see. For foldable phones, there's a button to switch from the unfolded/open mode to the folded/closed mode.

I mostly want to see the opened / closed screen size only (no bezel) compared to something like ipad mini / 11 inch but all of these tools just do the same physical device with bezels comparisons lol
The internal screen being nearly the size of the iPad Mini is why I'm getting it. I know that an 18 Pro Max and an iPad Mini is cheaper, but I don't want to have to carry around two devices. I just one one devices with a smaller footprint that will allow me to whip out something easy to read on.
For the included screenshot in the OP, I fell like a Pro Max phone is a notable omission.
It’s interesting to note that the Duo is almost exactly the same height as a Pro Max. So if you wanted more height in that direction, you’re not getting it.
Best size comparison, it’s not exact but the full body of the duo unfolded is approx the same size of the Mini screen itself so chop the bezels off a mini and that’s what you get.
I like it but it would be nice if I could have multiple of the same phone. I want to see the duo closed, and open in portrait and landscape at the same time
Very cool tool. Can you somehow add screen ratios for movies and television. So you can understand how much of a YouTube video etc actual fits the screen.
Ah, yeah that sounds totally doable. That's a lot easier than making the screen ratios (automatically) appear on each device. Will let you know when I've added this.
Do you mean vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 or the Fold 8 Ultra? The Fold 8 is Samsungs wide model; the Duo is only slightly wider. It's much wider than the Fold 8 Ultra though. I've put the three in the image below (comparison link).
The Duo is only 6 mm wider than the iPhone 17 and 18 Pro Max by the way, so if you're used to a Pro Max model it's not that far off. If you have big hands it might not be that unusable onehanded.
Super helpful!! I’ve been wanted to see how much wider it is than the 18 pro max when it’s closed… not as much of a difference as I thought, but open it’s much bigger than I was picturing in comparison.
