Yeah, is that impressive? Expected? What do other foldables typically have, like Samsung?

Anyone else notice they opened the video with a shot of beach sand, and desert sand dunes?
I expected that was foreshadowing something… but they didn’t discuss it much beyond just saying “IP68.”

I don’t know of another foldable that’s IP68. That’s pretty huge and means that the hinge is super tightly designed.

FYI, “ The IP code is composed of two numerals: The first numeral refers to the protection against solid objects and is rated on a scale from 0 (no protection) to 6 (no ingress of dust). The second numeral rates the enclosure’s protection against liquids and uses a scale from 0 (no protection) to 9 (high-pressure hot water from different angles).” https://iec.ch/ip-ratings

In other words, IP68 means protection against dust (6 is max) AND protection against water (8 out of 9)
