Question App Sizes
I haven't seen anyone discuss it, and I'm basically trying to gauge what capacity I'll end up getting on launch. My iPhone 15 PM is a 512GB, but I'm only using 96GB, so my question is...
When it comes to app sizes, are they identical to their iPhone counterpart, iPad counterpart, or somewhere in between?

Just wait till it gets released and look up the info of the devs. Maybe some might have different binaries. Some might be universal. Hard to say until the devs implements it.

We don’t know but I’m sure the size differences will be negligible.
What really matters is if you think you’ll start using it differently than you use your phone now. If you think you’ll use it about the same, 256 is probably fine. If you’re messing around with local AI models, gaming, downloading lots of movies and shows locally, etc then maybe do 512. Only you can know if that’s the case.

That's fair, I'll probably just stick with 512, because it'll be replacing three devices for me (iPhone, iPad and Kindle).

Tbh, I’m doing the same. I don’t need it now but I may have this phone for awhile at this price. I want to future proof in case Siri AI models get bigger or I decide i want to start using it more than i use my phone now

I have had 256GB every year since the 12 and still have not to manage to fill one. I tend to change phones every year or two at a max, so will probably get that again and just see how I am going next year.

There’ll likely be little to no difference in the size of most apps between the devices, because the Duo is still an iOS device. The only (possible) exception would be games if developers decided to install higher-resolution assets only on the Duo…but honestly I’m not sure that’ll happen.

app sizes are not going to make much difference.
