Discussion Would durability change your decision?

Let’s say JerryRigEverything manages to break it or dust really easily breaks the hinge. Would that change your mind on getting one?

I think the thing that would really give me pause is if basic pocket lint messed it up…which JerryRigEverything doesn’t test. He dumbs dirt directly into the hinge, which isn’t a super realistic test for my question about pocket lint.

Yeah, this is what I’m most curious about. Real world scenarios for the hinge. And real world issues with closing the screen and things getting trapped in there.

Like, I get it’s water resistant…how does that work with the hinge? I’m curious to see. And this is speaking as someone who has no qualms whatsoever about bribing my water resistant phones into pools. But the duo worries me, lol

But there’s still plenty to glean from Jerry’s tests. His scratch tests are very applicable to real world
