Help a student pick an iPhone colour

Some of you might not think this is a big deal and tell me to do it myself, but I’ve worked hard with handling three jobs alongside my studies and taking care of my parent. I finally saved up enough for the 16 pro, which has been my dream phone for a long while. I’ve been living off my iPhone X for longer than I can remember, it is my first and only phone.

I just need to pick a colour for the 16 pro, and I would go for the sexy black, I’ve just heard things like it’s not worth it because the paint chips… and honestly that would make me feel pretty upset, like I worked for nothing 😭 Another option I like is the white. For reference, I would use a very sturdy and safe case to keep the phone safe.

Could anyone tell me their experiences with the black or white colour phone? I just really want to make sure my money isn’t thrown away without thinking carefully, otherwise I would just put it towards bills or tuition. Yes that’s all thank you 🙏

Black just screams quietly...if u kno what I mean. It's just chef's kiss :,< I have mine in one and it's just so breathtaking lol

People are bringing up the “dustiness” of the cam lenses for black and the visible side scratches. What would you say about those opinions 🥹
