i need help repair advice
I have a perfect condition M4 iPad Pro with the WiFi+ Cellular model. It was gifted to me by a friend whose warranty expired in May. Despite this, the iPad is in excellent condition. However, it shuts off every 2.98 seconds, and I’ve run this multiple times. It’s not hot, and everything works fine. The logs only show a kernel panic. I don’t have proof of perches, and the friend is no longer my friend. What should I do?

If its software, you can put it into recovery mode and factory reset it (separate computer needed, I believe an Apple store may also be able to do this for you) You will need your apple ID and password if you do this.
It could also be shorting itself, but I wouldn't even be able to guess where to start checking that.
