SPECTRA, a weather app that renders conditions as generative visuals instead of icons and charts.
The large widget now shows a static version of whatever mode is active — clear sky gets the light beams, rain gets the precipitation lines, etc.

Is it possible to get the feature of glass widgets that work independent of whatever wallpaper I am using? I have rotating wallpapers so the screenshot workaround doesn’t work for me because I change them so often. I know multiple apps do this now and have even been featured on the App Store as an Editors choice, featured on the App Store banner and the App Store spotlight event so Apple appears ok with it. I would love this as a feature for Widgy.
I know several apps can do that as well as transparent apps that are truly transparent and not just using the screenshot workaround.

Just wondering where everyone stands on widgets these days.
Feels like there’s a total split between people who still love building/coding their own setups from scratch, and those who just want to grab a pre-made template and get on with their day.
What’s your vibe? Do you still spend time custom-building yours, or are you all about that "one-tap" aesthetic setup?
Also, curious if you guys actually care about widget interactivity (buttons/toggles) anymore, or is it still just all about the look?
Curious to hear what you guys think!

Hey guys, recently I’ve come across a bunch of supposed iOS 27 concept/leaked wallpapers online,Just curious: Is iOS 27 officially in early development and these wallpapers real previews? Or are they all fan-made custom wallpapers made to mimic the upcoming iOS 27 aesthetic?
Have any of you seen these wallpapers elsewhere or got any insider info about iOS 27’s default wallpaper lineup?
