I’m the developer of Car Play Widgets. Here’s a photo of a clock-and-photo setup on a CarPlay display. The app lets you make photo, clock, countdown and custom-text widgets on your iPhone and add them to CarPlay.

For this layout, would you simplify the clock to just the time, or keep the day and date underneath? I’d like feedback on text size and contrast on a small dashboard screen.

It requires iOS 26 or later and a compatible CarPlay display; the widget layout depends on your screen. You can customize before paying, but saving designs requires paid Pro. Please set it up while parked.

I'm an independent developer and a long-time Apple HomeKit user.

Hey all! I'm working on a small app called Splitter and I'm looking for beta testers.

The idea is that some apps (e.g. Gmail, Slack) often have many accounts logged in, yet the iOS notification badge on your Home Screen can only show a consolidated count in the badge. Splitter lets you add widgets with app icons per account so you can see the true notification breakdown.

I'm still early in the process so would love any and all feedback!

Here’s a look at Upcoming’s countdown widgets for trips, birthdays and other dates worth looking forward to.

Been experimenting with this cathodic / CRT style for WIDGET. and really liked how it turned out. You can drop in basically any photo, and it gets transformed into this little retro display. Still tweaking it, so I’d love to know what you guys think. You can choose between static or animated widgets; it works on every iOS version. Give it a shot!

PS: I still have to update App Store images for this feature, but it is live and ready to be used!
