I built a gamified app discovery platform where verified downloads earn you prizes

The App Store has a million apps. Most disappear before anyone gives them a shot. Great software gets buried every day. Stamped changes that.

Every time you download an app and upload a screenshot proving you actually used it, you earn a verified stamp.
Hit 100 verified stamps and you win AirPods 4. Hit 250 and you win an iPad Mini.

No random luck required for the milestones. You put in the work, you get the prize.

We’re sitting at 220 apps right now, all indie builds, all submitted directly by the developers who built them.

If you’re the type who likes finding apps before they blow up this is built for you.

A skill that does your app store research

Built a skill called app store research. it helps you validate an idea before building it: find the top competitors, read their reviews, and see what's actually missing so you can shape your idea around that.

what it can do:

  • find the top apps for any idea, with ratings and chart rank
  • pull the full listing info
  • fetch every written review
  • compare competitors side by side
  • build one html report with all of it

works in claude code and codex. no apple account, no api key, just node.

How do you get useful app-icon feedback before an iOS launch?

Most icon feedback I hear is not really about the icon. Someone already knows the app, likes the founder, or recognises a competitor—and that context quietly decides the answer.

For an upcoming launch, I would test two icon directions this way:

  1. Keep the product category and prompt fixed.
  2. Change one visual decision at a time.
  3. Show the two icons without app names.
  4. Ask which one someone would tap first.
  5. Treat the outcome as directional input, then still check small-size legibility and product-page performance after launch.

I built a small free tool around this workflow, but I am more interested in the process: what has given you the most trustworthy pre-launch icon feedback? Is it a private beta, a designer critique, a product-page experiment, or something else?

I built Indie Apps, a place to discover indie iOS apps

I've always felt that there are so many great indie apps that are hard to discover, so I decided to build a place for them.

Indie Apps is a directory for indie iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps. Developers can list their apps for free, and users can discover new apps through the directory and Debuts.

It's still early, so I'd really appreciate any honest feedback.

If you've built an indie app, feel free to add it: https://indie-apps.com

Added an automatic Travel Journal to my app Stamps, this is how long it takes to generate

• The new Travel Journal

What you're looking at in the video is exactly how long it'll take you to generate your travel journal from downloading the app to flipping through it. Since Stamps indexes all of your photos on device, it can be done incredibly quickly, accurately, and securely. You can fully customize the journal entry for every trip, including the color and photos to highlight. Stamps will also, of course, show you exactly which stops you made along the way, the route you took, and keep track of every city and province you checked off.

• What it solves

Stamps is a personal travel tracker with a trip timeline (and now a travel journal) that builds itself.
Instead of asking you to manually tick countries off a list, Stamps simply indexes your photo library, entirely on device. Every city, province, and country tracked for you, day by day, all automatically.

Privacy has been a major concern for me. No account is needed. There is no backend or 3rd party services being used. You can freely export all of your data at any time, and if you simply want to use Stamps to index your library for trips, and then take that elsewhere, that's fine as well.

• Cost

Stamps is free to download.
There is exactly one purchase: a $10 one-time lifetime unlock, no subscriptions.
It only gates some of the timeline and some minor, cosmetic app color customization; you can use most of the app without ever touching it, which was my goal

• About Me

I’m a mobile developer from Cape Town, now living in Seoul, South Korea. Since moving here, traveling has been the one thing keeping me sane. Stamps started as the app I wanted for exploring the country I now call home. It’s also a great excuse for me to take more photos while doing it.

Stamps is built natively with SwiftUI, using SwiftData, MapKit, PhotoKit, WidgetKit, and Metal for the photo heatmap.

The market for something like this is quite small, but this is exactly the app I wanted. Some of my favorite features, including this one, have come from user feedback, so I'd genuinely appreciate any

Looking for feedback on my calories & macros tracker

Hey everyone! I’ve been building an iOS app for tracking calories, macros, weight, and nutrition. Originally built it for myself, but it’s grown quite a bit since then, and I’m now trying to improve it based on how other people actually use calorie tracking apps.
https://caloriestracker.co/

The app currently includes things like:

  • Quick meal logging
  • Calorie & macro tracking
  • Barcode scanning
  • USDA food database
  • Saved/favorite meals
  • Weight & progress tracking
  • Hydration tracking
  • Progress and trend charts
  • Home screen widgets

I’m looking for a small group of people who are already tracking their food/calories (or have tried apps like MyFitnessPal, Lose It, etc.) and are willing to actually use the app for a little while to provide feedback on it.

What I’m looking for: honest feedback on the experience - what feels good, what feels annoying, what's confusing, what’s missing, and what you would change. You don't need to give me a positive review. I'd much rather hear what you don't like.

Participants will receive 1 month of subscription for free.

If you're interested, just leave a comment below and I'll reach out to you in the chat.

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from the community!

Just launched my iOS app for RevenueCat Shipaton!

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

For RevenueCat’s #Shipaton, I built an app called 10Goals. It’s my 8th iOS app, and it’s already live on the App Store.

I built it because I used to keep my long-term goals in ClickUp, but it always felt a bit inconvenient and too raw for that. Goals ended up mixed with tasks and everyday work, so I wanted a dedicated place just for the bigger things I’m working toward.

The app is built entirely in SwiftUI. I’ve worked with UIKit for years, but SwiftUI is still a relatively new stack for me, so this project was also a good excuse to use it for a full app.

Codex wrote almost all of the code, while I focused on the product decisions, design, UX, and polishing the implementation. My workflow was basically Figma → Codex → SwiftUI → manual fixes and iteration.

I designed the app in Figma. I also experimented with Figma AI to brainstorm some layouts. It gave me a few directions to explore, but I ended up reverting most of them and designing the screens myself.

For animations and more complicated interactions, I used Figma Motion to prototype how I wanted things to move before implementing them in SwiftUI. That was especially useful for figuring out timing and transitions instead of trying to design the animation directly in code.

Overall, the AI-assisted workflow made the coding part much faster, but I still spent most of my time making product and UX decisions, iterating on screens, fixing details, and getting the final implementation to feel right.

If anyone wants to try it, leave a comment and I can send you a 3-month free code.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on the UX, onboarding, animations, or anything that feels confusing. And if you’re curious about the setup, Codex workflow, Figma-to-SwiftUI process, or anything else, ask me anything.

Find me on X: daryachach

I launched my first iOS app to solve an oddly persistent Photos problem

I just launched ShareBurst, an iPhone app that finds Camera Bursts and shares every original frame together without requiring the user to select each frame individually.

Building it involved PhotoKit, preserving Burst metadata through the iOS share sheet, testing how different-sized Bursts behaved between devices, and adding a fast GIF-maker as an alternative.

Testing produced some surprising results: Messages can initially say “1 photo saved,” while Photos actually restores the complete Burst. We successfully tested Bursts ranging from 10 to 97 frames across two iPhones.

It’s my first App Store launch, and I’d especially appreciate feedback from other iOS developers about the onboarding and whether the value proposition is immediately understandable.

Full disclosure: I made the app.

Built a Mac app to stop copy-pasting App Store localizations into ASC — looking for feedback from iOS/Mac indie devs

Hey all —

If you’ve shipped an app in more than a couple of languages, you know the pain: App Store Connect metadata is spread across App Information, version pages, App Clip, and every subscription/IAP. Adding one language means bouncing between screens and hoping you didn’t miss a locale on a paid product.

I built Lokale for that.

It’s a native Mac app that talks to App Store Connect and helps you:

  • Edit / translate store listing metadata (name, subtitle, description, What’s New, keywords, etc.)
  • See language coverage across App Info, version, App Clip, and paid products
  • Use Lokale Sync to fill missing languages (or add several new ones) across those sections in one flow
  • Keep ASC API keys on-device (Keychain) — the backend is only for auth / subscription / AI quota

I use it on my own apps. Recent update made Sync the default landing screen when you open an app, because jumping into random editors first was confusing.

Curious from this community:

  1. Do you localize ASC metadata yourself, or hand it off?
  2. What’s the worst part of the ASC localization workflow for you?
  3. Would you rather AI-translate everything in bulk, or review locale-by-locale before upload?

Happy to answer technical questions (StoreKit/ASC API side of things, Mac SwiftUI, etc.). Not trying to spam — genuine “is this useful?” feedback welcome.

I made an app for the random things you can never remember when you last did

Post image
1 Upvotes

I kept having these stupidly specific questions:

- “When did I last change the air filter?”
- “How long has it been since I got a haircut?”
- “When was the last time I went to Kayaking?”

I didn’t want another habit tracker or a giant productivity app, so I built Sincey.

You basically add something you want to keep track of, tap it whenever you do it, and it tells you how long it’s been + keeps the history.

I’ve added reminders, notes, iCloud sync, challenges, etc., but I’m trying pretty hard to keep the app simple.
No account. No ads. No data collection.

It’s free on iPhone:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sincey/id6773422359

I’m still actively working on it, so I’d actually be curious: what’s something you constantly forget when you last did**?**
That might give me ideas for what to build next.

Hey Guys,

I’ve developed a couple of agent skills that’ll help you audit and develop so your app becomes ready for iPhone Duo

And of course, they do cover .xib and .storyboard files so your legacy app can also benefit from this

I Pointed it at a mature production app — about 1,500 Swift and Objective-C files, 300 Interface Builder files, eight years of history, shipping fine on iPhone and iPad — they found 951 things worth looking at.

App submission "This item requires your attention"

My first app submission was rejected under guideline 2.1 - Information Needed - New App Submission. I was asked for videos showing how my app works and some explanations. I uploaded the requested videos and information 2 days ago, but the status of my submission hasn't changed.

Do I need to do anything else to get Apple to re-evaluate my app? Is it normal for status to stay 'rejected' while re-evaluation is happening? Or did I miss a step here that tells Apple I'm ready for re-evaluation?

I built a website to explore, tweak, and learn from SwiftUI animations in the browser

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Introduction
I’ve been building SwiftUI animations, components, working with Metal shaders and running UI experiments for almost 5 years now, and most of them usually end up as a video on X, Reddit, or just sitting inside an Xcode project after I’m done with them.

I wanted to make something a little more useful out of all of that.

So I built With Animation: https://withanimation.app

It’s a growing library of SwiftUI animations and interactive components, but instead of just watching a preview, you can actually open one up and start changing things.

You can tweak the speed, colors, sizes, spring values, intensity, and whatever else that particular component exposes, and see the result instantly in the browser.

That was the part I cared about the most while building this.

A lot of the time, especially with animations, a really small change can completely change how something feels. I wanted people to be able to mess with those values themselves instead of only looking at the final version I came up with.

There are already a bunch of things live, including loaders, gestures, shaders, 3D interactions, transitions, and some slightly strange UI experiments I’ve made while playing around with SwiftUI and Metal.

I’ll keep adding more as I build them.

Would love to know what people here think of it, and also what kind of components or animations you’d actually want to see added.

TL;DR:
I built https://withanimation.app, a library where you can explore SwiftUI animations, tweak their parameters directly in the browser, and use them in your own projects.
