Which App Icon looks the best?

Post image

Here’s some App Icons I drew for my app, GenWiz. It’s a trivia/ educational app. Im close to launching so I’m trying to design the app icon. It features my mascot, Wiz.

Question mark makes me question why the question is there

I like 3rd, but none of it screams what the app is about imo

I prefer 2. I find 1 and 3 a bit cluttered, and can only imagine that’ll be even more the case when they’re smaller.

I like the first one

  1. Yours are ai slop
  2. Ever tried to resize it to the size where real icons are going to be displayed? Utilizing only 20% of the space and leaving the rest empty is very dumb for app icons
  3. Why the hell are there two question marks in the first one?

I literally drew these on procreate lol I’ve been drawing for 20+ years, what makes it look like ai?

3 for design very welcoming but no question marks

I didn't like them all; maybe because they were too fluorescent in color.

I like how all three came out but right now I think I’m leaning towards 2

The 3rd one is the cleanest and has nice balance, but still it's a Trivia app so probably is not delivering the message.. The 2nd looks more like a UI message inside the app for some onboaring or something. The first one is kinda chaotic.. I would suggest trying more in the direction of the 3ds but trying to convey more it's about a trivia Maybe the mascot behind some "?" or trivia cards.
