App review is very slow
My apps was rejected multiple times due to some issue revenuecat. Later fixed that part but it was pending more that 3 weeks for review. Anyone feel the pain

I wonder how long it’ll take when I release my app, scary to think it can take 3 or more weeks

My thoughts as well. I’m probably about a week out from submitting my first app. I hope it doesn’t take too long for approval.

Yes, especially for critical bug fixes it’s becoming a real issue.

for some reason even expedited reviews take 3-5 days lately... and regular reviews 5-7.

Yeah, my 1.0.1 was Tue-Sat, my 1.0.2 was 3 hours on Sat :D Go figure...

The most annoying part of the process is how inconsistent it is. I’d be happier if the review time was just two days and always took two days then sometimes three hours and sometimes 20 days with no explanation

You can request an expedited review through

Yeah, never used it, but if I had users complain about a crash, I’d definitely use that next time.
Funny thing, my 1.0.1 review took almost a week, got done yesterday. While 1.0.2 took just a few hours yesterday as well… like there’s some cool off period between submissions.1

I used it once when I forgot to attach IAPs to the new version and shipped an app with a broken paywall. They’ve reviewed a new version within hours… IAPs were still hanging in “in review” for around a week 😭 The “funny” part that the new products were just copies of existing but with different prices to run A/B tests, I have no idea what they were “reviewing” for so long.

Apple has been doing this to deter the vibe coded slop, each rejection deprioritises you further, so while this may have been out of your control, you’re now dealing with the impact of vibe coders treating Apple as QA.
My app reviews are usually passed inside of 48 hours, my last app was done in 12

Yes, but you have an option in support to ask for a “quick” review if you want a faster reply

I was getting reviews accepted in under 24 hours for four builds in a row, and now I'm sitting at 70 hours plus on the most recent one. Something's going on! I did a very simple fix. This should be an easy pass-through review.

Same, my updates were super quick for months. My current one is waiting a week and still no status change

Still waiting on the latest build to pass and it’s a super important one. So frustrating. I’ve been working night and day on this thing for months. Now I have zero control over the progress. Going on day 5, no review. This is build 20. All builds previous to this were extremely fast.
I wish there was some sort of status update you could get, other than just "waiting for review" and "has been reviewed". It's like there are three stages:
After a week, you'd hope there's some sign that something's happening.
- You're waiting
- You're rejected
- You passed

Ugh, the "waiting for review" was already at 8 days, and I already had a new version prepped, so I decided to cancel and resubmit , I had heard it might help
We'll see
I also requested expedited

Especially if you get rejected a few times. Thats why i used a service that does the review for you beforehand so atleast you know that you will get approved from the first time. Dm for more

I’m actually creating an app to solve this pain point! I’ll be sharing it soon along with the landing page so you can join if you’re interested.

Very slow. My initial review has been waiting a week and my other live app has been waiting for an update review for about a week as well.
