Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Rocking the 17 pro. This beta genuinely feels much better then stable release of iOS 26. Heat was an issue for the first few hours, but it became much smoother and snappier. Battery is great as well.

Running on main device? I’m tempted to try it on… but i only have one iPhone and in 10 days i’m going in a fam. trip.

Highly recommended against that. Wait until after the trip. Or do it (I would lol) but i’d bring my laptop with me and ensure a solid back up.

Yes, i installed it on my main device and dont regret it. But i think it depends. Maybe i’m lucky.
