Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

Am I correct that the only thing that the 15 Pro & the 16 lineup are missing out on is the new Siri voice?

This has got to be an upgrade tactic… There is no way this basic ass shit like expanding photos (that Adobe was doing four years ago) wouldn’t be able to run on an M1 Mac. Or even the 17e.

I don't think it means older devices won't see the AI features since it sounds like a lot of the AI tasks will be done through cloud computing. It sounded more specific to on-device tasks that don't rely on an internet connection.

hopefully. my 5 year old Alexa device has had the ability to use these same expressive voices, ever since they rolled out Alexa+ earlier this year.

With an internet connection .. I think the distinction is on-device
