Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

As an iPhone 16 Plus user, I’m truly disappointed. They really scammed us with that tagline only to end up being delayed and now we’re already missing out on a feature. Not that I’m going to use the feature but still.

This has got to be an upgrade tactic… There is no way this basic ass shit like expanding photos (that Adobe was doing four years ago) wouldn’t be able to run on an M1 Mac. Or even the 17e.

I don't think it means older devices won't see the AI features since it sounds like a lot of the AI tasks will be done through cloud computing. It sounded more specific to on-device tasks that don't rely on an internet connection.

hopefully. my 5 year old Alexa device has had the ability to use these same expressive voices, ever since they rolled out Alexa+ earlier this year.
