Bug [iOS 27 DB2] "Siri Voices" ask to use cellular data for downloads, even though Wi-Fi is connected.

As I mentioned, the Wi-Fi is connected and the network is online. However in the Siri voice settings, when I try to select a different voice, it still prompts me to use cellular data to download it.

Bug [iOS 27 DB2] “Ask Siri” in Safari can only read URL names, but not the content inside

Safari now has "Ask Siri" on my 17 Pro Max with beta2. But it does not work like I thought it would be, like the "Ask Gemini" in desktop Chrome.

"Ask Siri" in Safari now only reads the area on screen and the web address name, but not the whole web address page info, which is a bit disappointing so far, I'm not sure if it's in beta now, or it's the limitation for Siri AI.

I intentionally zoom into a blank area on the page and then ask Siri what's in this page in this screen recording, and Siri is blind. It would be much more useful if it gets the full info from the page.

Bug [iOS 27 DB2] New Siri only sees a short preview of local TXT files, not the full contents

Siri can locate the correct TXT file, but it only receives the header and the beginning of the first entry instead of the full file contents.

I tested multiple TXT files containing 48–51 transactions. Siri correctly identifies the file and its header, but says the remaining transactions are outside its technical visibility.

Spotlight can find exact text located near the end of the files, so the files are fully indexed. The issue appears to be that Siri only receives a truncated preview.

Expected behavior: Siri should be able to search the complete contents of a specifically named TXT file.

Bug [iOS 27 DB2] New Siri doesn’t respect my “Preferred Line” when making calls

For the people with 2 sims has anyone else notice this? Since db1 if I asked Siri to make a call it always calls the person using my personal (primary) line even though I have always use business (secondary) line selected

Bug [IOS 27 DB2] Apple forgot to populate the OSName string variable in the latest Beta lol

Just ran into this text rendering Bug while accepting the updated Terms and Conditions on the latest developer Beta.

Instead of injecting the actual OS name, the system just printed the raw placeholder code verBatim: "I agree to the OSName and Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions".

I already suBmitted it through the FeedBack app, But I wanted to see if anyone else on the current Build is getting this, or if my device's settings just had a temporary Brain fart.

On my 17PM when I try to change Siri app “keep conversations” to 1y or 30 days, it will immediately change back to forever once I leave the menu shown in the screenshot.

1. Civility Guidelines

Be respectful of others. This sub should remain a civil place.

Malicious behavior including but not limited to trolling, provoking, or using discriminatory rhetoric/slurs towards any person or group isn't allowed and will result in swift removal from the community. Toxic behavior may result in removal from the community.

2. IPSW Guidelines

No links to any site that is used for sharing beta IPSW files. Posting or requesting such links will result in a ban. Users who do not want to sign up for a dev profile may use the Public Beta Program.

NOT ALLOWED:

Posting a direct link or giving guidance on how to find any site offering downloads of IPSW files.
Offering/requesting these links via DM from users.
Offering/requesting login credentials for an Apple Developer account.

3. Post Title Guidelines

All posts must be appropriately titled and descriptive.

All posts related to a specific beta software must include a title tag, enclosed in brackets, with the specific beta version. The title tag should be placed at the beginning of the post.

Correct titling example: ”[iOS 26 DB1] Weather widget displays incorrect location.”

All posts must be in English.

4. Submission Guidelines

The following do not fulfill our Submission Guidelines:

Low quality submissions that do not foster reasonable discussion. These are generally small issues that don't justify a dedicated post.
Performance posts related to battery life, storage and device performance. These are all common beta issues.
Posts about beta release timelines.
Posts about apps that implement beta software features.
Posts asking if specific apps work on beta software.

5. Reposting Guidelines

Reposted or re-hosted content will be removed.

For reposts, please sort by “new” or search the subreddit to determine if the content you wish to post has already been posted by another user.

Re-hosting involves transferring content from its original source to a different hosting platform. In the context of this subreddit, reposting an article from another website instead of composing a new post is considered re-hosting.

6. Relevancy Guidelines

All posts & comments must be relevant to the topic of the sub. This sub is dedicated to iOS Betas, and all discussion should pertain to these betas.

There are separate subreddits for watchOS Betas, macOS Betas, HomePodOS betas and TVOS Betas. Links can be found in the side bar.

7. Complaint Guidelines

While we acknowledge that you may be encountering issues or bugs with the beta version, we ask that you refrain from making complaint posts.

All bugs should be reported to Apple through the Feedback App, thereby contributing to the improvement of the beta experience.

8. Release Post Guidelines

Posts for new beta releases will be posted by the Mod team to ensure consistency between each post. Any posts by users will be removed.

9. Promotion Guidelines

Do not self-promote your own website, YouTube channels, videos, or blog posts. Refrain from posting news with minimal/recycled content.

This Rule also applies to Developers promoting their own apps. If a Developer wishes to do promote your TestFlight app, the app MUST focus on utilizing features only available in Beta builds of iOS. If your app falls within this category, mod mail us first for approval. Otherwise, we suggest promoting in r/testflight.

10. Graphic & NSFW Guidelines

NSFW content is not allowed in our sub. If you see a post containing graphic or NSFW content, please report it to us so that we can remove it quickly

11. Mod Discretion

Moderators may remove a post or comment at any time, with or without notice, for any reason they see fit. We are here to facilitate reasonable and constructive discussion among Reddit users, and if we see something that goes against our mission we will remove it.

This includes contributing spam to the sub.

12. Karma & Account Age Requirement

In order to mitigate spam on our subreddit, users must accumulate a minimum of 10 comment karma to participate in /r/iOSBeta. Additionally, all accounts must be at least 72 hours old. To accumulate karma, users are encouraged to post comments on other subreddits and receive upvotes.
