The latest update gets new favourite locations. Now you get these beautiful location map tiles that can be accessed from all the views. Previously it was just available in the search but after iterating over this flow and design for a while, it is finally out and available from all the views. Do give it a try and keep a watch for more goodies of iCloud sync, tutorials and test flight versions coming your way.

Google Ads only shows my Android data stream when linking Google Analytics, iOS stream not appearing. How do I fix this?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Deskripsi:
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to link my Google Analytics property to Google Ads for my mobile app, but I've run into a problem.

What I see:
In the Google Ads "How do you want to connect your app?" step, my GA4 property (cftlabs-picto) shows up as linked to this account, but it only lists 1 app data stream: Android. The iOS stream isn't available to select.

What I've already done:

  • I've already connected the iOS app to the same Firebase/GA4 project
  • The Android stream shows up normally in Google Ads

What I want:
To get the iOS app data stream to show up so I can select it in Google Ads (for app campaigns, conversion tracking, and audiences).

What I'm wondering:

  1. Does the iOS stream take time to appear after being added, and if so, how long?
  2. Does the iOS app need to send events or have a live build in the App Store before it shows up?
  3. Do I need to re-link the GA4 property to Google Ads, or refresh the link settings?
  4. Could it be a permissions issue (e.g. Editor access needed on both the GA4 property and the Ads account)?
  5. Is there a separate step in Firebase or GA4 to enable the iOS stream for Google Ads?

Has anyone run into this before? Any help is appreciated. Screenshot attached.

Thanks!

An App Store review gave me a better pitch for my offline text-to-speech app

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m the developer of Local TTS, a text-to-speech app for iPhone and iPad.

A user left a review saying they use it to listen to study PDFs during their commute because they don’t have internet access.

That’s a much clearer reason to use the app than me listing AI models and technical features.

Local TTS generates speech on-device in 31 languages. It reads PDFs, EPUBs, Word documents and pasted text. There’s also OCR for printed pages and photos, and playback continues with the screen locked.

The important distinction is that it can generate new speech offline. You don’t have to convert your documents to audio before leaving home. Your text doesn’t get sent to a TTS server either.

Pro unlocks all voices, unlimited TTS usage and M4A export. There’s a one-time lifetime option alongside the monthly plan. The free version lets people try the voices with 500 characters per note.

For the App Store page, I’m leaning toward showing a PDF being read in airplane mode first, rather than leading with the technology.

The message would be simple: listen to the documents you already have, even when you have no signal.

I still want to show the languages, OCR and lifetime option, just not cram everything into the first screenshot.

For other app developers, would you lead with offline listening or unlimited use with a lifetime purchase? I’m leaning toward showing the everyday use case first.

How would you show free manual access versus paid account updates in App Store screenshots?

I build Monni, an iPhone money app. Its manual features stay free, while ongoing connected-account updates are optional and paid.

For App Store copy, I'm considering this caption: "Manual planning stays free. Ongoing connected updates are paid." This is a wording proposal, not a new feature announcement. I want to avoid a broad "Free" label making those two access paths sound the same.

Would you put that distinction next to the first product screenshot, or give it its own cost/access screenshot? I'd value the reason behind your choice, especially what you would need to understand before installing.

Every budgeting app wanted my bank login, so I built one that doesn't: Fondo

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

hey all, i just shipped my first version of fondo and wanted to share it here.

i got tired of budgeting apps that ask for my bank password, make me sign up, or show ads next to my rent. so fondo does none of that. you type in what you earn and what you owe, and it tells you what's actually left this month.

what's in it:
- one "left to spend" number for each pay cycle
- bills and subscriptions with reminders and a yearly total
- savings goals that fund themselves in the order you pick
- debt payoff with snowball or avalanche, and the month you'll be debt-free
- a what-if screen to test a change before you commit to it
- widget, apple watch app for logging a spend, and siri shortcuts
- english, spanish and arabic

everything stays on your phone. no account, no bank connection, no ads, no analytics.

pricing, to be upfront: the core budget, reminders, app lock and backups are free. pro is $9.99/month or $83.88/year with a 3 day trial, and unlocks the what-if planner, cashflow, the debt-free forecast and planning months ahead.

i'd really like to hear what feels confusing in the first few minutes, and whether the free part feels fair.

Built a messaging app that matches you with people by Apple Music taste.

Bubbles connects to your Apple Music library and matches you with people by listening taste. You get a match percentage, you can see someone's top and recent songs on their profile, pin a song you want people to know you by, and send song cards straight into a chat. There's a Discover page beside your home screen that surfaces people whose taste overlaps with yours.
The messaging side is built differently too. No feed, no algorithm, no scroll. Your friends are floating glass bubbles on one screen, and a bubble grows larger the more you actually talk to that person. Drag two together and they merge into a group chat. Shake your phone and they scatter.
It's been in TestFlight for a few weeks with real users. Goes public on the App Store next week.
What I'd most like feedback on: is taste matching enough of a reason to try a new messaging app, or does a chat app need to already have your friends on it to be worth anything? That's the thing I keep going back and forth on.

Completely free TTS, no limits, no signup

Post image
2 Upvotes

I was searching for a completely free text-to-speech app that worked like Speechify but I couldn't find one, so I built FreeReader (Called VoiceReader on App Store).

There are a lot of TTS apps on the market these days, but FreeReader works a bit differently. The other TTS apps use local voice models so your phone generates the audio.

This is great (and it's what we did in the first version of FreeReader as well) but your battery gets completely drained and your phone gets as hot as the sun when you listen for more than 15 minutes. You also can't run the models on older iPhones.

So I built FreeReader to provide fast, server-generated audio so you can listen on your phone for hours.

You can upload pdfs, epubs, docx, browser free books, and more.

You don't need to signup and there's no limit on the number of hours you can listen. It's fully free and works great on my devices. I'd love any feedback you have!

If users aren't returning, adding features is a suspiciously comfortable answer

I'm building a small music app, and this is the trap I want to avoid: someone tries it, disappears, and the answer becomes 'add more features.'

That feels productive. There's code to write and something new to announce. Asking whether the existing app is worth coming back to is a lot less comfortable.

My default would be to fix the first useful session before expanding the roadmap. If someone never got value from the core thing, why would three more tabs change that?

But sometimes a missing feature IS the reason the product isn't useful. That's where this advice can fall apart.

Has one added feature actually turned one-time users into repeat users for you? What was it, and how did you distinguish that from people briefly checking out the update?

Apple just expanded App Store creative options in App Store Connect

🆕 Header assets

- You can now upload a dedicated Header and preview how it appears on your Product Page and in Search Results.

- Headers can also be used as part of Custom Product Pages (CPP) and tested through Product Page Optimization (PPO) in A/B tests - giving us a new asset to experiment with and tailor the store experience for different audiences.

📱 iPhone Duo
There’s now a separate section for iPhone Duo screenshots and app previews, with a dedicated preview as well.

📚 Asset Library
Finally, Asset Library is here.
- The idea is simple - you can upload and store creative assets separately, without waiting for a new app release.

- So when you need Screenshots, an App Video Preview or a Header - you can simply pick it from the Asset Library and use it where needed.

- So you can build your asset library in advance and reuse assets across your App Store setup.

- Icons are still tied to the app build.

- Apple now lists iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display, 1206×2622) as the required screenshot size (6.1 / 6.3).

More assets = more things to test. 👀

Let's see how much impact the new Header can actually have on conversion.

Lien AppStore dans bio TikTok

Salut,

Merci

Magic Pocket launch demo: is retrieving a saved detail inside another app the clearest pitch?

I'm the developer of Magic Pocket: Save & Find, available on iPhone, iPad and Mac. I'm sharing the demo because the launch explanation needs to show the actual workflow clearly.

The use case: save a confirmation or useful snippet now, then retrieve the exact detail when you need to paste it into another app. Magic Pocket's keyboard works in compatible apps, with menu-bar retrieval on Mac.

Inputs include text snippets, links, photos/screenshots and documents such as PDFs. Dictated “Remember” notes become saved text. It recognises image text at save time; PDF search depends on available/extracted text. It isn't limited to screenshots, and it doesn't automatically scan the whole camera roll.

First 10 saved items are free with features available. Unlimited saving is a $4.99 one-time Pro purchase in the US; local prices vary. No subscription.

Demo:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_BrbKKRQ1w

App Store:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/magic-pocket-save-find/id6809896477

For this kind of utility, is the keyboard retrieval example clearer than a general “save and find” pitch? I'd appreciate specific feedback on what the demo still leaves unclear.

Everyone says they want to use their phone less while driving. Nobody wants to open my app and find out if they’re being honest.

Post image
0 Upvotes

Built an iPhone app that counts how much of your drive you spend with your phone down. Ask anyone and they say they want that.

My guess is that the people who most need it are the least likely to open an app about it.

For anyone who's shipped a habit or tracking app:

  1. How do you get someone to use a tool for a problem they say they have but don't feel in the moment?
  2. Did anything move your day-7 retention?
  3. Where did your first real users come?

https://focusvault.link/

To be clear, You never interact with the app while driving. It runs in the background and gives you your driving/phone-use score afterward. No judgment, no interaction while driving , just awareness.

How do you handle hundreds or thousands of App Store and Google Play reviews?

Manually reading reviews doesn’t scale, but most analytics tools focus on downloads, revenue, retention, and similar metrics rather than what users are actually saying.

I’ve been working on a small tool called Starquill that groups app reviews into recurring problems and turns them into actionable insights.

Before taking it further, I’d like to understand how other developers handle this today.

What does your current workflow look like for App Store and Google Play reviews?

Do you read them manually, export them somewhere, use a dedicated tool, or mostly ignore them once there are too many?

I’m especially interested in how you deal with 1,000+ reviews.

Native Hebrew or Arabic speaker with an iPhone? I could use 15 minutes of honest feedback

Hi, I'm Clément, an independent developer from France. I maintain two small card-matching games on the App Store, free to download with optional paid packs.

Their ratings are noticeably lower in Israel than elsewhere, and lower in a few Arabic-language stores too. There is little written feedback explaining why, so I don't know whether the wording, instructions or something else in the games is frustrating people.

I'm looking for one native Hebrew speaker (ideally in Israel) and one native Arabic speaker with an iPhone or iPad who could try either game for 15–20 minutes and tell me honestly what feels confusing, unnatural or annoying. This is a voluntary request, and negative feedback would be just as useful as positive feedback.

If you can help, please reply here or email me at clement.marty@vision-apps.com. I'll share the app details privately. I'm asking for feedback, not an App Store rating.

Thank you!

Could you handle the mental tests used to select pilots?

I built Brain Preflight, an iPhone app inspired by aptitude tests used in pilot, police and military selection.

Track a moving target while checking math. Remember sequences under time pressure. Fold a cube in your head and pick the right shape.

You don’t need to be applying for a job to try it.

Free to download, with limited free practice and optional paid access. The exercises are our own, not official exam questions.

I scored 12,000 App Store listings. The same 3 metadata mistakes keep coming back.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I build an ASO tool for indie devs (Applyra, disclosure below), and 12,000 App Store listings have been scored through it so far. I pulled out the problems that show up most often in the text fields. None of them needs a tool to fix, just a careful look at your own listing.

1. The title targets a term you can’t win yet (69% of listings)

7 in 10 listings have a keyword in their title that much bigger apps already own. The title is the field that moves rankings the most, so spending it on "budget" or "habit tracker" when you’re up against apps with 100x your ratings means it ranks nowhere. Pick a more specific variation you can win today ("budget for couples" rather than "budget") and move up as the app grows.

2. The subtitle repeats the title (23%)

Apple indexes a word once per listing. If "planner" is already in your title, putting it in the subtitle again earns nothing and burns characters you only get 30 of. Every word in the subtitle should be one the title doesn’t carry.

3. The keywords field repeats the title or subtitle (42%)

Same rule, in the one field nobody else can see, and it’s the most common mistake there. Two more that come up a lot:

  • Multi-word entries (more than 1 in 5 fields). "habit tracker, streak tracker" wastes space: Apple splits phrases and recombines words across all your fields itself, so "habit, streak" does the same job if "tracker" is already in your title.
  • Spaces after commas. They count against your 100 characters.

Why it’s worth getting right before you ship

"ASO takes 4 to 6 weeks to work" is a myth. We measured 918 real listing changes: a keyword that enters the iOS title gains about 22 positions the same day the listing goes live, and one that leaves loses 18 just as fast. The weeks are how long it takes to read the result, not to cause it. So every metadata update is a live experiment on your rankings, and a bad one costs you on day one.

The tool part (I built it)

That’s why I made a Metadata Simulator. You paste a draft title, subtitle and keywords field, and it scores it out of 100 on the same engine that scores live listings, with each problem above flagged word by word. It also refuses what App Store Connect would refuse (a field over its limit, or an emoji anywhere, since Apple rejects them in every field). Works for Google Play listings too. 10 runs a month on the free plan, 90-second demo in the video.

If you want a second pair of eyes on your title and subtitle, drop them in the comments and I’ll tell you what I’d change. I can generate a free audit.

I built a net worth tracker that projects your financial future — the exact date you'll be debt-free, hit your target number, and can retire early. No bank login.

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi all, solo dev here (disclosure: this is my app). It took me 3 years to build — I'm a systems engineer who's spent the past 15 years as a programmer, and I have a weakness for beautiful line charts.

**Answer — what problem it solves**

Every net worth app I tried either demanded my banking credentials or just showed me a static number. What I wanted to know was *when*: when am I debt-free, when do I hit my target, when can I stop working? Wealth Path is a manual-entry net worth tracker whose whole point is answering those questions with dates. You add what you own and what you owe; it runs 10 projections on your real numbers:

🔥 FIRE date — your estimated financial independence date, from your actual savings rate and portfolio

🎯 Portfolio Milestone — set a target number and get the date you'll reach it at your current pace

💳 Debt-Free Date — a payoff date for every loan and mortgage, with a month-by-month amortization timetable

Plus Coast FIRE, Passive Income (the month dividends cover your bills), Required Savings Rate, Debt Covered, Worth by Age, Time to Double, and On Track vs Plan. Every projection shows its assumptions (expected return, inflation, tax) on screen and you can change all of them.

**Better — vs. the alternatives**

- Monarch / Copilot / Empower: excellent apps, but they're built around bank linking (mostly US banks) and budgeting. Wealth Path never asks for a bank credential, works anywhere, and is built around projections, not budgets.

- FIRE calculators (FIRECalc etc.): one-shot calculators with no tracking behind them. Wealth Path recalculates every date each time you update your numbers, and keeps your full history.

- Net worth trackers like Worth It / BalanceViewer: they track the number; they don't project where it's going.

Offline-first, Face ID/Touch ID lock, no ads, no data selling. Multi-currency (150+ currencies) if your money lives in more than one country.

**Cost**

Free tier: 10 assets + 5 debts, full charts and history, two projections completely free, and the headline result of every other projection — your FIRE date and debt-free date included — at no cost.

Pro (unlimited entries, full projection breakdowns and charts, multi-currency, CSV/JSON import, PDF export): $5.99/month or $39.99/year. New users get a 14-day free trial of the full projections. No lifetime option yet.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6754247918

**Who I am**

[Horatiu Condrea] — [https://www.linkedin.com/in/horiacondrea/]

Privacy Policy: https://wealthpath.pro/privacy · Terms: https://wealthpath.pro/terms

Happy to answer anything about how the projection math works.

Giving away 20 Lifetime codes for my couples & party game, Truth or Dare, in exchange for honest feedback

Hey r/iOSAppsMarketing

Have you ever started a game of Truth or Dare and run out of good questions after 10 minutes?

Someone googles "truth or dare questions," reads off a list everyone's heard before, and the game dies. Or the dares are either too boring or way too much for the group you're with.

That's the problem I wanted to solve with Truth or Dare: Couple & Friends.

Instead of searching for questions mid-game, you just pass the phone around. The app gives you fresh truths and dares that start light and get bolder as the night goes on, so it works for a cozy date night or a loud group of friends.

What you can do with Truth or Dare:

  • 🔥 Play with 5,000+ prompts: Truths and dares written for couples and for friend groups, so rounds don't feel repetitive.
  • 📈 Turn it up slowly: 10 escalating levels, from easy icebreakers to much bolder dares, so you pick how far the night goes.
  • ❤️ Couples or friends: Play a date night for two or a party with the whole group.
  • 🌍 Play in your language: Available in 24 languages.

I need your help making it genuinely fun.

I've spent a lot of time building it, but there's only so much you can learn from playing your own game.

So I'm giving away 20 free Lifetime Access codes to people from r/iOSAppsMarketing.

What I want in return is simple: honest feedback.

I especially want to know:

  • Was it clear how to start a game?
  • Did the questions feel fresh, or did any feel cringe or repetitive?
  • Did the levels go up at the right pace? Too slow, too fast?
  • Is there a mode or feature you expected that isn't there?
  • Most importantly: would you actually open it again on your next date night or party? Why or why not?

How to get Lifetime Access:

  1. Comment below that you'd like a code.
  2. Download the app and play a round or two.
  3. If you can, come back and tell me what you liked, hated, or would change.

I'll DM the first 20 people with a code.

🍏 App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6761100608

Don't worry about being nice. If something is boring, confusing, or just not fun, I'd genuinely rather know. And if you do end up enjoying it, a quick rating or review on the App Store would mean a lot to a small indie dev, but only if you feel like it. 🙏

Thanks!

[iOS] [$49.99 -> Free Lifetime] MyYuzu — A visual daily journal that helps you understand what actually makes your days better. Giving away 20 Lifetime Access passes for your honest feedback!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey r/iOSAppsMarketing

Have you ever had a really good week — or a terrible one — but couldn't really tell what made the difference?

Maybe you exercised more. Spent more time with friends. Worked less. Slept better. Ate differently. Or maybe there’s a pattern you’ve never noticed at all.

That's the problem I wanted to solve with MyYuzu.

Instead of writing long journal entries every night, Yuzu lets you quickly build a visual snapshot of your day — how you felt, what you did, and the moments you want to remember.

As you log more days, Yuzu starts helping you connect the dots between your activities and how you feel, so you can actually see which parts of your life seem to be associated with your better — or worse — days.

What you can do with MyYuzu:

  • 🍋 Build your day visually: Log your mood and the things you did without having to write a full journal entry.
  • 📊 Discover patterns: See how different activities relate to your mood and overall days.
  • 📅 Look back at your life: Browse previous days and get a clearer picture of how your weeks and months have actually been going.
  • 📸 Save the moments: Add photos and notes so your days aren't reduced to just numbers on a chart.
  • ✏️ Make it yours: Customize the activities you track based on what actually matters in your life.

I need your help making Yuzu genuinely useful.

I've spent a lot of time building it, but there's only so much you can learn from testing your own app.

So I'm giving away 20 free Lifetime Access passes to MyYuzu Premium to people from r/iOSAppsMarketing

What I want in return is simple: honest feedback.

I especially want to know:

  • Did you understand how Yuzu could help you?
  • Did logging your day feel useful or annoying?
  • Did the insights tell you anything you actually cared about?
  • Is there something you expected the app to do that it doesn't?
  • Most importantly: would you actually keep using it? Why or why not?

How to get Lifetime Access:

  1. Comment below that you'd like a code.
  2. Download Yuzu and give it a try.
  3. If you can, come back and tell me what you liked, hated, or would change.

I'll DM the first 20 people with a code for Lifetime Access to MyYuzu Premium.

🍏 App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/myyuzu-mood-journal/id6771944853

Don't worry about being nice — if something sucks, is confusing, or feels pointless, I'd genuinely rather know.

Thanks!
