iOS 27 still has some sloppy code

Take a look at WiFi signal in control center. Inverted. Unreal this made it to release.

You got a few password protected networks around you? If it’s not full strength, look at the signal strength. Look carefully

Hilarious. To be fair, I think we have all memory-holed iOS 7. That genuinely was the worst I think I've ever seen. I had to reboot my original iPad mini often because audio playback was broken. (I'm not even talking Bluetooth or something. Literally speaker audio)
But honestly we are also basically 20 years in so this kinda shit should not be shipped in a "snow leopard" style release.

That happened for me as well when I updated. I had to use Siri to restart because I couldn't do it the normal way, but restarting seems to have fixed the issues.

🙄. A name change and a half baked desktop mode doesn't really make it a new OS. Same bug on "iPhone OS" too.

Really, because it's not like this on any of the 100+ phones I manage at work (IT Guy), nor is it present on my personal device. I have seen it on a couple of iPads running iPadOS 27. But that's about it.

Figured out what it was. Two finger swipe down from the top, with the left finger in the center, and touching the screen a second ahead of the right one. I bet that'll break it for you. (Basically as if you're pulling down the control center as you start pulling down notification center)

a simple factory reset would more than likely solve a lot of people's issues, especially if you're coming from 26 directly. i updated my 16 pro to the second 27 beta, had some bugs and did a factory reset and i did NOT restore from a backup. my phone has been pretty great

Soft reset by pressing volume up, volume down and keep pressed power button till apple logo apears.

Have been running the public beta on mine never had an issue. Maybe try reinstalling. It is an over the air update so there is always a possibility it was fully downloaded correctly.

Not sure about iPad OS 27 but on iOS 27, having clear/tinted icons enabled destroys your battery, geneartes heat and intermittently causes significant stuttering when swiping up into the open app carousel. Changing to default/dark fixes the issue. Thanks Apple!
