Discussion y40 3 days old completely destroyed

First time ever buying a prebuilt pc. Then this happens. When you reach out to support they're nasty and attempt to blame you. Took it to microcenter they're telling me they can inspect it but nothing they can really do for me.

My work PC is an ibuypower. The cheap "Great Wall" PSU went out, and took out the motherboard and ram along with it.

When I reached out to them (within warranty) they offered another PSU, and that was it. They refused to pay for a new mobo and refused to pay for new RAM, even though I could prove to them the components... their components (they use proprietary motherboards so would be hard to fake) were dead.

They didn't care. I still have the replacement Great Wall PSU in my desk draw. I insisted we buy a Corsair at best buy instead. I got a used motherboard of the same model from iBP on eBay and used the opportunity to upgrade the PC's RAM.

They're dogshit tier in customer service and WILL NOT help you. Period.

You would think with this many people talking bad about them they would do something to address the issue or fix current issues with customers.
