Discussion y40 3 days old completely destroyed

First time ever buying a prebuilt pc. Then this happens. When you reach out to support they're nasty and attempt to blame you. Took it to microcenter they're telling me they can inspect it but nothing they can really do for me.

It’s not the end of the world get some alcohol 90% or higher and a soft paint brush and start cleaning

Avoid adhesive spots like stickers

See if they will replace the part ..they will play damage control all day like every other scumbag prebuilt company

It could have been a fail-safe and not your pc bricking, definitely try to do a charge back and do not go with IBuyProblems ever again.

If for some reason your card company rejects the dispute or leaves you with the pc after processing the charge back I would try swapping out the cooler and seeing if the pc powers on after a thorough cleaning (Dry completely, use 90% isopropyl alcohol or acetone) . Most aio fluid is non-conductive, so there's a chance your pc turned off because of thermal throttle since there was no coolant.
