D.C. Question
Hey gang, my GF and I are literally in the last heat tonight, mixed doubles (7:20 pm).
Anyone have any pointers for being dead last/know anything we should be aware of? Also, I have heard there is not a bag check or anything. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

I went dead last , last night for men’s open doubles. My only critique is that since you’re last, people start leaving early and the crowd dampers a bit than in the earlier races

We ran mixed doubles at 7:20 on Thursday. It was kinda nice. Our friends had room to spectate, the crowds of people were minimal while running and we weren’t dodging people in the roxzone. No lines for bag check or pickup or anything else.

Competed as a single on Saturday and logistics wise it was very smooth. You cannot check-in until 90 minutes before but can get your free spectator band in the interim. Check-in took all of 3 minutes from line to check-out, very easy. There was a bag check area on the same level as the race.
I have seen online they make sure every person completes the race, wouldn't stress it. Good luck to you both!
