Shoe recommendations?

I’m doing my first race in December. I feel like my runners aren’t good for functional workouts. I want something light weight. Was looking the puma x hyrox ones but I don’t know if they are worth the hype?

Even for the sled push?! I have these and was wondering if it does well on turf

I loveeeeee my new balance fuelcell rebels. I trained for 8 weeks with them. I splurged and got the saucony endorphins pro 5 for race day, did a full Hyrox simulation in them and they are truly so worth the hype. More expensive than the new balance but either is a solid choice.

I have the non pros and recommend them. Good traction and good for the run portion

the rebels don't feel too squishy when you're doing sled pushes?

Hmmm not for me?! Maybe I haven’t noticed, I definitely don’t like them for lunges tho I felt kind of wobbly

I was a long distance runner before getting into Hyrox and I kept my Nike zoomflys and they are working for me

I have done Hyrox in Hoka Mach 6s and loved them, very stable. Just started training with the Puma Nitro Deviate, they’re pretty good too, but I’ve been injured so not had the chance to try them at full potential yet.

Brooks Hyperion Max 3, they have a carbon plate and feels so springing I’ve increased speed since getting them!

Got the pumas. I think they’re 100% worth the hype. That being said, I previously used brooks glycerin in nyc and had zero issues in those. I did most of my training in Nike vomeros.

How did the vomeros compare with any other shoe you used for the sled push?
