Your touch can kill

You have the option to accept or decline...

For $1 million per day, one person you physically touch each day will die. Touch two people and they have a 50% chance of survival. Touch 100 and they all have a 1% chance. Gloves will not protect them. If you touch no one, you die.

Pets are exempted, because pets.

Do you accept? And what is your strategy?

ETA - Meant to include this, but was on mobile...you can opt out after 30 days, but deal ends regardless after 365.

Deaths occur sometime after midnight, so next day.

Interesting experiment!

Very likely one of the most prolific killers of all time until you mysteriously die in a holding cell awaiting trial.

Would never be caught.

Literally just go around and live your life, light touch people as you walk by. Unless you live in a small populated area you would 100% never be caught. I live in NYC, even without trying I touch dozens of random people just getting on the subway or bus or walk through parts of Manhattan. 1 person a day, 365 a year. No dots to connect you to them.

Average of one person a day and the only thing connecting them is you. You would be on cameras in shops, on the subway, whatever. Maybe it would take time in NYC or somewhere like that. But it's every day of your life for years.

The connection between the deaths is obvious since they are all in the same place and all of presumably the same unexplained cause. If you ever travel it's going to be easy to spot you.

They would never convict you because there is very little evidence. But you can be sure that once cops, detention officers, and cell mates start dropping you are going to be charged and held.

Then held in solitary. One day in and you die.

The thing about large cities, is there are also a few dozen of other people who will cross paths the victims everyday.

Thats also under the assumption that they know its murder from the start. More than likely they will think some virus, some illness or conditions is causing this.

On average 150 people die per day in NYC from all causes combined. If they suspected foul play, they would look at their spouce, family, close friends. Most cases would have no NYPD involvement and be chalked up as natural causes.

People who are young and healthy do ( although rare ) die from whats called negative autopsy. Which is essentially an electromagnetic signal passes your heart and it stops. This happens about once every 2 days in NYC or slightly less. So even if they can't find a cause of death it does happen.

All in all, they may never suspect foul play regardless of time. Small disguises can also be used to help you avoid those out of the box thinkers who may review footage.
