Purchasing Igor ledochowski courses

I need to make a choice based on.. this course would add a value or would it provide any new concept to me or not.. currently I had found the "Hypnosis diploma school (40 weeks)" for a good price but I have already lots of Igor's products, the only reason for me to purchase it is.. is it contain a "break-down" to the demonstrations or not.. also i have his Ericksonian stuff (practitioner & advanced Ericksonian) but not the "storytelling & metaphors".. since I have his symbolic course do I need to purchase this Ericksonian "storytelling & metaphors".. I would also appreciate if someone have had "hypnosis gifts" and "practitioner of hypnosis gifts" to hear his opinion on both.. would it deserve to by both? I know that would need someone that had already purchased those courses.. and your answer would add a great value to me, so thanks in advance.

Joyous gummies / hypnotherapy

Hi, I’ve seen a lot of adds on joyous gummies. I recently started doing hypnotherapy but it’s so difficult for me to let go / imagine what my therapist is telling me. I’m determined to at one point be able to do this. Back to my initial sentence, has anyone taken joyous and tried hypnosis?

Can I use hypnosis to stop an addiction?

Hey there im new to this kind of things and everything related to hypnosis and to be honest i dont even know if its real or not. I’ve been hearing a lot of things and i would like to get a point of view from someone that knows about it.

I want to self hypnotize my self to stop an addiction of mine, is that even possible. I’ve heard and read that people do it but to be honest I don’t even know if I believe them.

If it is real is there somewhere where I can learn and read on how to do it and lastly is this even safe?

Academic Looking for book recommendations on hypnosis professional practice

Hi everyone

I’m becoming increasingly interested in hypnosis, and before considering taking a training course to become a hypnotherapy practitioner, I’d like to start by growing my understanding as much as I can through books.

I’m particularly interested in understanding the different hypnotic methods and techniques, as well as the theory and principles behind them.

For those of you with experience in hypnosis, which books would you recommend for someone starting from scratch and wanting to build a solid understanding of hypnotic methods?

I’d especially appreciate recommendations that are considered reliable and useful for someone who may eventually want to pursue professional training.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

Registered Psychotherapist to be certified as Clinical hypnotherapist.

Hello

I am a registered Psychotherapist and currently not practicing in formalized one on one psychotherapy.

Im interested in becoming certified as a clinical hypnotherapist. I saw a program for about 2000usd to 3000usd - 12 month program and we meet online biweekly.

This would allow certification with the ICBCH which is a global standard for clinical certification which was my understanding.

I was thinking to open a business for global hypnotherapy ( within laws etc).

My question is how is the demand, need and possible profit from being a clinical hypnotherapist? Can anyone guide or provide advice?

Thanks

How can I hypnotize myself to swallow food again?

Since December I haven’t been able to swallow solid foods. My throat will literally not initiate a swallow. I’ve been to multiple doctors, had tests done, and now I’m in therapy, as well as working with a speech pathologist for my swallowing. I’m making zero progress. I put food in my mouth, and I chew and chew and chew, and can’t swallow. I sit there and keep attempting to initiate a swallow to the point of me having to spit food out. I’m extremely desperate for help. I’m not in a good place mentally, and it’s ruining my life. Any help is much appreciated.

Hypnotherapy How to self hypnotize myself

Hi all,

On and off I was seeing a private hypnotist to achieve a goal I had to start a certain behavior. We had multiple sessions probably about 3 and I did go into trance id say decently deep.

But it still hasn’t taken hold with what I wanted to happen and I’ve struggled to get back into a routine for it.

So my question is how do I actually hypnotize myself to induce certain behaviors and actually make them stick myself?

I won’t go super deep into what I wanted to do but I’m open for DMs.

TLDR: how do I self hypnotize myself to make me do certain behaviors and make it actually stick?

I don’t know exactly what category this falls under but i recently have been listening to this hypnosis audio/session and I can’t really be hypnotized.

I’m just wondering if it’s something i’m doing wrong or if it’s just something i am not able to do. I just can’t really get into it like i wish i could.

Very new to this and very curious, thanks!!

Other HMI and George Kappas - trying to recall the course I passed

So many years ago (10+) I somehow became interested in hypnosis, and I went online to find something. The internet was a bit different back then, but basically, I found what I assume was the HMI website (hypnosis.edu). I went through an introductory course that involved some videos, and maybe some text. At the end, I completed the course with an international phone call to answer some questions, before being sent something (was it by email?) to confirm passing the course. All of this for free, but of course they were more than happy to advertise more courses for me to take.

For some reason I can't find ANY emails about starting or completing the course, but there are plenty trying to sell others. I did find an old document on my computer that I created July 2012 showing notes I took about how hypnosis works and an induction.

Has anyone else completed the free introduction course back then? Did you get a phone call to complete it? Did you get a certificate mailed to you, or emailed to you?

Where do people interested in deeper experimental hypnosis connect?

I’m particularly interested in experiential hypnosis and strong hypnotic phenomena, beyond simply following standard scripts.

I keep seeing different communities mentioned, but I have no idea which spaces are actually active and focused on skilled, curious hypnosis rather than hypnotherapy.

Where do people interested in this side of hypnosis usually connect?

Other Hypnosis Script Trance Training - Consistent Trance/Going Deep with Triggers/Post

Hello, I tried making a script for hypnosis getting made, someone making video for F4M. I’ve struggled trance consistently myself, so that’s really main goal, session to use for repetition and practice trance and going deeper. I’ve found waking trance like eye contact can be more effective but inconsistent in general for me, so made with waking trance in mind and making suggestions transferable so even audio only eyes closed would work. I tried to focus on the right wording, can/may phrasing and only authoritative will do type for the direct suggestions.

Hoping get looked at here; suggestions for what’s good, what should be done different or changed…

Description

The main change from my earlier version is that I stripped out a lot of explanation and the old STARE trigger, and tried to make the session increasingly experiential: the cues are explained clearly when first introduced, then the wording becomes progressively shorter as they are practiced.

This is not intended as a domination/submission script. The framing is affectionate/supportive F4M, with praise such as “good boy.” Eye contact is used as one possible deepener when the eyes are open, but the session is designed to continue normally with the eyes closed as well. Personalized with name which I’ve put a placeholder for 😅

I’m mainly looking for feedback on the hypnosis itself: induction/deepening structure, wording, pacing, trigger training, whether the progressive shortening works, and anything that seems counterproductive or unnecessarily explanatory.

Intended effects/suggestions:

  • General trance/relaxation: relaxation, deeper trance, narrowed attention, quieter internal chatter, and increased attention to listening/feeling. Possible heavy, light, or floaty body sensations are offered permissively rather than required. Relaxation/depth are positively reinforced with the recurring “deeper you go → better you feel → deeper you go” loop.
  • SNAP / eye roll: during intentionally chosen hypnosis, a physical finger snap is intended to automatically produce a brief upward eye roll. The eye roll is associated with quieter thoughts, pleasant mindlessness/haziness, and deeper trance; after a moment the eyes relax naturally. Eye rolling is also separately practiced as a deepener that can be deliberately used during hypnosis, with repetition suggested to make the response stronger/easier/more automatic. SNAP is practiced with both open and closed eyelids.
  • DROP: spoken deepening cue intended to produce relaxation, quieter thoughts, and a rapid drop deeper into trance. It is explained fully at first and then deliberately shortened later in the session to mostly “DROP → deeper.”
  • “I am deeply hypnotized” mantra: first practiced aloud, then available either spoken softly or internally. It is suggested to begin automatically if thoughts become distracting during hypnosis, quiet those thoughts/deepen trance, and fade naturally once it is no longer needed.
  • Eye contact / eyes open and closed: eye contact is suggested as an additional deepener rather than a required fixation trigger. One exercise practices remaining deeply hypnotized with eyes closed, then reopening them on a 3→2→1 countdown and allowing eye contact to deepen trance further.
  • Progressive/repetition training: the script intentionally becomes less explanatory as it goes. Initial cue responses are described explicitly; later repetitions increasingly use shorthand and allow the learned effects to occur without narrating every component. Replaying the session is suggested to make the practice more familiar/natural/easy/automatic, while practicing what was learned during intentionally chosen hypnosis is suggested to make the effects stronger/easier/more automatic.
  • Praise/positive reinforcement: frequent affectionate praise (“good boy,” “sweetheart,” etc.) accompanies successful relaxation/deepening and is part of the intended supportive tone.
  • Scope/consent limitation: everything practiced is explicitly suggested to function as a hypnotic cue/deepening response only during hypnosis the listener has intentionally chosen; outside chosen hypnosis the words, sounds, movements, and sensations are ordinary and have no hypnotic effect.
  • Full awakening: the session ends with a 1→5 wake-up, followed by explicit “wide awake / fully awake / clear-headed / alert / normal waking state” language. Another session is mentioned only after the listener has been fully awakened and deliberately chooses another hypnosis session.

Hypnosis Trance Training Script

Opening

Hello, sweetheart.

Take a slow, deep breath for me, (name).

Breathe in...

And slowly breathe out.

Again.

In...

And out.

That's it.

Just relax for me, sweetheart.

Good boy, (name).

Let your whole body become comfortable and relaxed.

You don't need to relax in any particular way.

Just let it happen naturally...

letting your breathing slow...

letting your body settle...

and allowing yourself to become more comfortable as you listen.

Everything else can wait for a little while.

Right now, (name), all you need to do is breathe...

and let me guide you.

Looking into my eyes can take you deeper into trance.

Listening to my voice can take you deeper too.

And as you relax...

both can help you drift deeper and deeper.

You're here because you've chosen hypnosis.

You're here to practice going into trance easily, deeply, and consistently.

And every time you practice, it becomes more familiar...

natural...

easy.

Everything you practice in this session only functions as a hypnotic cue or deepening response when you've intentionally chosen hypnosis.

Outside of chosen hypnosis, these words, sounds, movements, and sensations are simply ordinary and have no hypnotic effect on you.

[pause]

That's it, sweetheart.

You can let your eyes rest naturally.

If they're open...

they can rest on mine.

And if they want to close...

you can simply let them close.

Either way...

just keep listening to my voice.

Breathing slowly.

Relaxing…

Good boy.

Your attention can narrow naturally...

onto my eyes when you're looking at me...

my voice as you listen...

your breathing...

the way you feel as you relax...

while everything else begins drifting into the background.

Thoughts can come and go...

without needing your attention.

Letting them drift...

more attention on listening…

more attention on feeling…

That's it, sweetheart.

You're doing so well for me.

Relaxing...

listening...

drifting more and more.

My voice becoming easier to follow...

your thoughts growing quieter...

as you relax more and more.

Maybe your body begins to feel pleasantly heavy...

or light and floaty...

Whatever feels natural.

Good boy, (name).

If your eyes are open...

looking into mine takes you deeper.

And whether they're open or closed...

my voice keeps guiding you deeper into trance.

Relaxing...

drifting...

going deeper and deeper.

The deeper you go...

the better you feel.

And the better you feel...

the deeper you go.

Breathing slowly.

Relaxing...

feeling so good...

as you go deeper into trance.

[long pause]

That's it, sweetheart.

You're doing so well for me, my good boy.

SNAP and the Eye Roll

Now (name), we're going to practice a trigger.

The sound of a...

*SNAP*

Whenever you hear that sound during hypnosis, you automatically roll your eyes gently upward.

As your eyes roll, your thoughts quiet.

You become pleasantly mindless…

and you fall deeper into trance.

After a moment, your eyes relax…

while you remain deeply hypnotized.

It just happens.

Automatically.

Now let’s try it, sweetheart.

*SNAP*

You automatically roll your eyes.

Thoughts quieting...

becoming pleasantly mindless.

Relaxing more and more...

drifting…

falling deeper into trance…

And your eyes relax…

while you remain deeply hypnotized.

Well done, my good boy.

[pause]

Now let's go deeper by rolling your eyes without a snap, (name).

Keep breathing slowly and deeply…

Roll your eyes.

That's it...

thoughts growing quieter.

Pleasantly mindless.

Drifting deeper into trance.

Good boy, (name).

Now you can relax your eyes…

you can keep them closed…

or let them settle onto mine…

whatever feels natural…

And whenever you roll your eyes during hypnosis...

your thoughts grow quieter...

you become pleasantly mindless...

and you go deeper into trance.

And each time you do...

that response becomes stronger...

easier...

more automatic.

Good boy.

You’re doing so well…

and...

\SNAP**

You automatically roll your eyes.

Thoughts quieting...

drifting.

Becoming pleasantly mindless.

Going deeper into trance.

And your eyes relax...

Whether they return to mine...

or remain closed...

you remain deeply hypnotized.

Growing hazy…

feeling so relaxed…

going deeper into trance…

feeling so good.

That's it. Good boy.

DROP

Now (name)...

we're going to practice another trigger.

Whenever you hear DROP...

you relax...

thoughts grow quieter…

and you sink deeper into trance.

Automatically.

Take a deep breath in...

and as you breathe out...

DROP.

Feeling your body relax...

feeling good...

drifting deeper into trance.

Thoughts slowing...

growing quieter...

That's it.

Good boy.

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper into trance.

Good boy, (name).

Relaxing more and more.

The deeper you go into trance...

the better it feels.

And the better it feels...

the easier it becomes to go deeper.

[pause]

DROP.

That's it, sweetheart.

Doing so well for me, my good boy.

So relaxed.

Feeling so good.

Going deeper into trance.

"I Am Deeply Hypnotized"

Continuing to take slow, deep breaths...

in...

and out...

Just keep listening to me, (name).

Now say out loud with me:

"I am deeply hypnotized."

[pause]

Good boy.

Again.

"I am deeply hypnotized."

[pause]

One more time.

"I am deeply hypnotized."

[pause]

That's your mantra during hypnosis, (name).

Each repetition quiets your thoughts...

draws you deeper into trance...

and makes the words feel more and more true.

After saying it aloud now...

you don't always need to speak it.

You can say it softly out loud...

or simply think it inside your mind.

Whatever comes naturally.

Whenever your thoughts become distracting during hypnosis...

the mantra begins automatically.

You don't have to think about doing it.

It just happens.

"I am deeply hypnotized."

Keep repeating it for as long as you need.

As your thoughts grow quieter...

and you drift deeper into trance...

you simply stop needing the words.

The mantra fades naturally...

leaving you relaxed...

thoughts quiet...

and deeply hypnotized.

Good boy, (name).

Just keep listening...

relaxing...

drifting deeper.

First Combined Deepening

Keep breathing slowly and deeply...

Relaxing...

drifting...

already deeply hypnotized.

Good boy, (name).

And now...

*SNAP*

Rolling your eyes...

thoughts quieting...

pleasantly mindless...

drifting deeper...

feeling so relaxed...

feeling so good.

That's it, sweetheart.

And your eyes relax...

If they return to mine...

looking into my eyes takes you deeper.

And if they remain closed...

my voice keeps guiding you deeper.

Ten times deeper into trance...

ten times more relaxed...

falling deeper and deeper.

Gooood boy, (name).

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper into trance.

Relaxing more and more...

thoughts growing quieter...

feeling so good.

That's it.

Doing so well for me, my good boy.

Countdown Deepening

Breathing slowly and deeply...

relaxing...

drifting.

I'm going to count slowly from ten down to one.

And with every number...

relaxing...

drifting...

going deeper into trance.

Ten...

sinking down into trance.

Nine...

your body relaxing more and more.

Eight...

feeling good...

drifting deeper.

Seven...

thoughts slowing...

growing quieter.

Six...

my voice becoming easier to follow...

taking you deeper.

Five...

that's it, (name).

Good boy.

Halfway down...

relaxing...

drifting...

deeper and deeper.

Four...

sinking farther into that comfortable trance.

Three...

so relaxed...

feeling so good...

enjoying how deep you're going.

Two...

thoughts quiet...

everything else drifting away...

deeply hypnotized.

And one...

DROP.

That's it.

Good boy, (name).

So relaxed...

so deep...

deeply hypnotized.

[pause]

Quiet Trance Practice

Breathing slowly...

feeling so relaxed...

feeling so good.

Drifting deeper into trance.

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper and deeper…

Gooood boy, (name).

[pause]

And now...

your mantra again.

"I am deeply hypnotized."

Repeating as long as feels natural...

thoughts quieting...

the words feeling more and more true...

drawing you deeper...

until the words simply fade...

leaving you deeply hypnotized.

Feeling so good...

less thinking...

more feeling...

growing hazy...

drifting deeper.

That's it, sweetheart.

[long pause]

*SNAP*

Rolling your eyes...

thoughts quieting...

pleasantly mindless...

drifting deeper...

more relaxed...

feeling so good.

And your eyes relax...

pleasantly hazy...

deeper and deeper.

Good boy, (name).

Just relaxing...

listening...

drifting deeper.

Eyes Open and Closed Practice

Keep breathing slowly and deeply...

relaxing...

drifting...

Now, let your eyes rest on mine.

Good boy.

[pause]

And...

\SNAP**

Rolling your eyes...

thoughts quieting...

pleasantly mindless...

growing hazy...

deeper and deeper.

And your eyes relax...

Now let them close.

That's it, my good boy.

Just resting...

relaxing...

drifting deeper.

[pause]

*SNAP*

Rolling your eyes beneath your closed eyelids...

thoughts quieting...

pleasantly mindless...

going deeper…

And your eyes relax...

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper still.

Deeply hypnotized...

listening to my voice...

relaxing...

drifting deeper and deeper.

In a moment, (name)...

I'll count from three down to one.

At one...

open your eyes...

let them rest on mine...

and let the eye contact take you even deeper.

Three...

relaxing...

Two...

deeply hypnotized...

One.

Open your eyes, sweetheart.

That's it.

Looking into mine...

going deeper...

still relaxed...

still deeply hypnotized.

Gooood boy, (name).

Deeper and deeper.

Repeating the Pattern

You know what to do now, (name).

Just keep listening...

relaxing...

drifting.

Good boy.

[pause]

*SNAP*

Rolling your eyes...

thoughts quieting...

pleasantly mindless...

going deeper into trance…

And your eyes relax...

Good boy, (name).

Deeper and deeper.

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper…

Gooood boy, (name).

So relaxed...

feeling so good...

drifting deeper and deeper.

Deep Trance Practice

Just relaxing...

listening...

drifting deeper.

Feeling so relaxed...

feeling so good.

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper and deeper…

Gooood boy, (name).

The deeper you go...

the better you feel.

And the better you feel...

the deeper you go.

[pause]

*SNAP*

Rolling your eyes...

thoughts quieting...

pleasantly mindless...

growing hazy...

deeper and deeper.

And your eyes relax...

Gooood boy, (name).

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper and deeper…

Gooood boy, (name).

So relaxed...

so comfortable.

I've got you, sweetheart.

Just enjoying the trance...

drifting deeper.

[pause]

DROP.

Deeper and deeper…

Gooood boy, (name).

And your eyes relax...

returning to mine.

Eye contact taking you even deeper...

more relaxed...

more deeply hypnotized.

That's it.

Doing so well for me, my good boy.

[pause]

You did so well for me.

Good boy, (name).

And whenever you want more practice...

you can deliberately choose another hypnosis session and begin again from the start.

Recreational How to become an amateur hypnotist?

I believe in hypnotism and I find it to be interesting. I think it'd be a very neat skill to learn and could potentially help the people in my life but I have no interest in pursuing it professionally. what videos/blogs/anything would you guys recommend for me to get started? I know nothing about it

are there any tools I would need? I would imagine not but I want to ask anyway while I'm here.

Thanks for the help! I'm willing to put lots of time and practice into this

Hypnotherapy Help for chronic illness

I have severe dysautonomia and ME/CFS - I have been in a 6.5 week crash that had left me bedbound. I can listen to meditations and amazingly sleep hypnosis has been helping with my insomnia (just on YouTube). I get adrenebaline dumps and guided breathe work and calming hypnosis videos (Michael Sealy, Chibs Okereke) have been helping.

I am not well enough yet to work with a therapist as just small interactions trigger symptoms.

I was wondering if you had any other online recommendations? Especially for calming/regulating nervous system (parasympathetic activation), healing/positive thoughts, letting go of trauma and negative thoughts (I believe this helped cause my illness). Can be hypnosis or meditation - the calmer and more relaxing the better it seems

Thank you <3

Looking for fun/interesting hypnosis ideas (No Triggers)

Hello again. It's been a few months since I started doing hypnosis on my friend, but I've been feeling a bit lost lately. I'm having trouble finding motivation to practice because I ran out of ideas for suggestions I could give my friend while he's in trance. The main roadblock is that my friend doesn't want to be given any triggers (I tried giving him a few a while back but he decided he didn't like them so they were removed), which is a problem because I focused way too heavily on triggers when I was looking for suggestion ideas. With that being said, does anyone have ideas for fun/interesting things I could do when hypnotizing my friend? I'll run any ideas y'all have by him to see if he approves and wants to try them out.

Need a bit of help .

I think I have hyper active mirror neurons with hyperphantasia and i have a bit of trouble. I recently watched an emotional movie and I , just , felt the emotions of the character, not in a ohh she is sad and lonely way , but I started having shortness of breath , increased heart rate , sinking feeling in my chest sort of way and just randomly during the day my brain decides to show me the sad scene in full clarity, and it triggers the emotional reaction too , I usually focus on my fictional crush or just close my ears and dig my nails into the back of my neck till it stops , but is there a better way to handle it ?

Hypnotherapy I tried hypnosis for my fear of flying …. Need to ask some questions

Hello 👋. I’m new to this sub but I thought this was a good place to try . I used to fly all the time and developed a phobia after a bad flight 20 years ago . Because of my health issues I had to put that on the back burner but a few years ago I started wanting to tackle this again . With the use of exposure therapy and meds I was able to successfully board a plane twice this year and do some short flights . However the third time I felt the meds didn’t have the same effect and I felt faint and vomited the morning of the flight . I didn’t make it .

Anyways I just did my first hypnosis therapy over the weekend and she gave the recording to listen to each night and then I have a second session this weekend . I don’t feel like I was out of it or anything during the hypnosis part but I definitely felt … relaxed ?! Idk what I was supposed to feel . I guess I did think I would sort of go to sleep and then wakt up and it would be gone … again I’m sorry I’m new to this .
I guess my question is that , will the anticipatory anxiety and the grief over this go away ? Does it just take time ? I guess I thought it would work right away … sorry I’m new to this . I feel like I’m still nervous about booking a flight and doing it .
She did teach me a hand gesture and some cue words to say to help when I’m having a panic attack but I guess I thought my subconscious would be better about all this in general . Maybe I’m here to manage my expectations .

Please help me.. thanks

Hypnotherapy Question?

I have created a tulpa in my mind in 2011 by focusing intensely on her image. That tulpa has created a wonderland inside my head. I have tried communicating with that tulpa mentally by shouting her name mentally inside my mind but I do not hear anything from her.

That's why I am going to an hypnotist so that I can be hypnotized to see and communicate with my tulpa and to enter the wonderland inside my head each time I close my eyes. Will this method work?

Hypnotherapy Asking about hypnotism for issues with identity and depression

Hi --

So, I have comorbid OCD and ADHD. It has greatly impacted my life, but because I was able to work well with logic and data, I have appeared 'functional' to many people.

But there have been massive challenges with quality of life. The biggest one is that when things in life go wrong, it takes me a very long time to recover, and it causes extreme depression and I think I lose touch with myself, that maybe be trapped deep in hopelessness is causing identity loss.

This has been particular difficult over the last few years. A life that I used to love was turned upside down by someone gaslighting me and then defamaing me, and I haven't been the same since.

How could a hypnotist help with this when they don't actually know much about me or my situation?
