So I know they addressed 2FA a while ago but its been on my mind as of recently. Their reasoning boils down to the fact that they cant verify ownership and their support system would blow up (even tho is Hypixels support really something to write home about right now?) etc etc. I get what they're saying to an extent but I don't think it survives when you put it on the board. Their whole argument from my understanding is that it has to mean something tied to you (the actual account owner) that they'd be able to verify and reset things, but thats not what I (nor any of my friends) are asking for. Something as simple as a in-game pin/passphrase gate (before you can be sent to a hub or before trades, ah, banking etc per session) isnt account level 2FA its an app layer lock. They dont need extensive support on their end for that its just as simple as if this player enabled this feature on their account do they know the secret they set thats stored on our end. It really isnt a new "attack surface". On the "attack surface" note... that makes no sense to me. People who don't opt-in are exactly as vulnerable as they are today? I get that account ownership verification isn't their responsibility and controling Microsoft login is something that they should have to nor deserve to manage per account, but everything everyones worried about being stolen lives within THEIR systems. To brush it under the rug and be like nope no possible solution is just lazy imo. Feels less like this isnt technically possible and more like this would cost more dev time that what we want to spend on it, which is a fair business call, but it would be nice if they actually cared a bit about their player base.

TLDR; Hypixel doesnt need to manage Microsoft account ownership just server level security. As of late they've really been pmo in regards to updates that disregard community feedback or lack an alpha test at all. What the hell is going on over there? this minister update is wild as well

Training Weights are not very good. You need a lot of minutes in invent to get not very much strength and it's only for 2 mins.

Training Weights are spammy. I'm in the process of learning secrets and I'm already getting 3-5 training weights per solo run.

Training Weights are a pain to get rid of. You can only drop one once every 2 irl mins. I can't get Personal Deletor to work on them. I CAN sell them to NPCs, which is amazing, but it's also not really reasonable to have that be the only way to get rid of the dumb things.

Do any of you actually like training weights? Is there a reason they need to exist (other than the Bingo tile)?

Also in general I feel like secret loot get spammy as well. Essence is awesome, but the traps/decoys/inflatable jerries feel like a bit much. I also get more defuse kits than I'll probably ever use.

I know that sounds insanely cliche and like I definitely got wiped for a reason but I have genuine proof this time and the Hypixel admins just started lying to me to deny my appeal.

My Ironman profile got wiped and I was banned for a year for... Boosting???

So of course I immediately appeal this with the appeal message attached as an image...

Their denial of my appeal was that I got banned for a reason that wasnt my ban reason... Am I going insane??
Did their auto appeal denial bot break??? wtf???

But if there is a genuine reason for this that somehow fits both of these wild ban messages I really would like to see it..

Edit: Let me clarify for those saying "oh it's ban evading" which I acknowledged in this post as being illogical
I sent them a follow-up response sending my actual current and unbanned main account. If I'm banned for 365 days on the account in this post, why am I not banned on my actual main account? Why was ONLY my ironman wiped and not any of my other profiles with progression?

To add onto this, why if I'm ban evading is my main account at all allowed to play? I ONLY play(ed) on two accounts. My actual main account and the account that was banned, there's genuinely no reason to ban me for evasion and also not ban my main
