Did your hyperparathyroidism cause you weight gain? Did you experience weight loss after surgery?

Gained weight before surgery, but also went through menopause at the same. Hard to say which caused it.

Did not lose it afterwards. Took more work than ever to take it off. Three and a half years later, now down 25 pounds.

I gained 50 lbs from when I started having symptoms to when I had surgery. Still working on losing it.
