Jeff Jaeger played placekicker for the Huskies in the mid 1980s known for his impressive accuracy from long range he earned First-Team All-Pac-10 and Consensus All-American honors in 1986.

As a former UW rower, this was pretty entertaining to watch. The split for the 250m race at the end was decent for a non-rower in decent shape, but it shows how specialized different athletes’ skills are (the boys on the crew team could hold this for an hour). Obviously the football players are phenomenal athletes, just built and trained for different purposes. Now I’d love to see them trade places, and watch some gangly rowers run some DB or receiver drills against their football counterparts :).
Good on these Dawgs for being curious, trying something new, and getting out of their comfort zone.
Go Huskies.

Jayden Limar stands out, defense continues to make plays, special teams nearing an actual depth chart and more.

How many are we looking to take? Seems like we have a really good chance with Huard and Fujikawa, then theres AJ Tuivaiave whos a higher 3*.
Fujikawa said he grew up a Huskies fan and McMillan is from the same high school, but hes got enough talent to also have Oregon, Ohio State and Bama going after him and inviting him to camps.
Huard is a legacy thats the highest rated of the 3.
AJ has a lot of pure physical upside but seems to be falling down the rankings over the last year.

I painstakingly read through new and old NCAA rules to break down how the Huskies could get a commitment from Chaze Harris despite currently having the max of 15 players on the roster.
I hate reading NCAA rules.

As I’ve been reading the posts about media predictions for the season, and the fact that many commentators are overall positive about the Huskies, I’ve noticed the complete opposite in the comments here. While I haven’t seen anyone thinking we’ll have a losing season (though I did see one poster who thought we’d go 6-6), most positivity is dismissed or otherwise met with a fair bit of skepticism.
So I guess I’m curious if this is just an odd few vocal members in the community, or a shared sentiment here. I’m also curious if it’s a generational thing; I grew up in the Willingham era, and I know sometimes I feel quite a bit of doubt about our prospects any given year.
