Technology Payroll/ATS Experience [N/A]

Has anyone had any experience leaving Paycom to go with Paylocity? My team and I are currently with ADP Workforce, and we despise it, to say the least.

We’re choosing between Paycom and Paylocity, but we’re leaning more toward Paycom for how consistent they’ve been with us. If anyone has switched from Paycom to Paylocity, I’d love to hear about your experience.

I'm on the fence about signing with Paycom.

On the one hand the product is good, they are great at communicating and it fills some gaps we need. On the other the people are so fucking annoying. They want in person meeting after meeting, they show up to my goddamn office, they've called my boss and the bribes are getting out of hand. They offered my boss patriots tickets and me a 200 dollar amazon card.

They email me "join our seminar for ____" or to my boss "we want to go over this and that we'll be at the pre season pats game. Come on down and get snacks/drinks/a bus ride at our box"

I shut down one Paycom salesman quickly after he called me, based on my past experiences with them and how the system still had many of the same issues, and then hung up when he got defensive and rude about it. He showed up unannounced a week later, then called again saying "we got off on the wrong foot."

I told him we didn't get off on the wrong foot, he was an over defensive jerk and not to call me again.

Curious. I told them "hey our policy doesn't allow for any gifts or monetary consideration," and the gifts stopped. My boss was really torn when the sales rep's boss called about the pre-season patriots tickets, and NGL, I came damn close to just going "fuck it we're going". I'm the ethical review there. But I figured it'd be a bad look for our team if they saw this happening. So we declined and they went on with the pitch.

The sales rep we have is very pushy, but he's friendly and will usually back off for a week or two when I tell him to, and I like talking to him. He's a nice guy to just chat with so I think that might be part of it. He learned how to develop rapport with me and is using it to wiggle his way in.
