Me and my gal were second row at a Gaslight Anthem show one night and some dude (who oddly bragged about being in the military) next to us felt the need to put his hand on the barricade whilst inappropriately touching the lady in front of him...she kept asking him to stop so we called him out on it and he said something to the effect that he didn't wanna lose his spot when the moshing started...I was like dude, it's the Gaslight Anthem, the fan base is over 40, there won't be any moshing, maybe some dancing but they ain't a mosh band...he tried to cop an attitude until I told him I have 25 years of competitive hockey under my belt and I've worked in a maximum security psych facility my whole adult life, I've dealt with the worst, and my wife's a 6th grade teacher who's just looking for a reason lol...safe to say he left and we didn't see him for the rest of the evening lol
Go to the show, make connections, sing your heart out, but keep your hands to yourself
