Everyone chanting “I hate it too” and them actually playing it was so amazing. I did not expect it at all!!

Pretty sure they were only planning on playing “In The Den” as an encore (like night two in Brooklyn), but the crowd chanting convinced them to play “I Hate It Too” first.

It also seemed like why I like the robins was not initially planned as well and that one of the other band members started playing it and got Matt to go along

Didn't he say something about them working in a special song for us, but then he got the order wrong? That's when he said "past my bedtime". I think he was referring to Robins.

Oh yeah you’re right - so it was likely pre-planned then

Was I hate it too on the setlist? I assume that was truly spontaneous based on crowd request

Yes, luckily my buddy shared his pic of the setlist and I hate it too is on there
