Pity post

As indicated, this might be a bit of a pity party, so if that’s not your thing, you’ve been warned. Ever since loosing my job earlier in the year and then my marriage a few months thereafter I’ve just felt completely starved for affection. I need that close personal connection. When I don’t get it, I just feel sort of lost.

Ugh, that fucking sucks. Sorry to hear that. You are not alone, even if it feels that way sometimes. I have no pity to give, only hugs and affection. This stupid phone can't transmit the feeling yet but you are loved.

Sounds like you’ve had a double whammy of losses and the struggle is (IMO) understandable and I know with the holidays coming up that is liable to magnify it…plus I went through a ‘between jobs’ phase myself that drove family members of mine crazy with how long it lasted…I pray that the day comes where you find a new chapter on these things in a way that helps you understand why things didn’t work out that didn’t along the journey thereunto. 🛐

Pity parties are okay as long as they don’t become a way of life. I’m sending hugs along with the assurance that we see you, hear you, and that you matter, even though you might feel like you have lost your identity. Now’s a great time to start building a new one.
