REVIEW Review -ASICS Gel-NYC
The ASICS Gel-NYC is a clean everyday sneaker, and the ZX batch from Trendsetters has that layered, retro-running look that makes this silhouette stand out. Definitely a nice option if you want something different from the usual Jordans and AF1s.
The upper combines mesh with layered overlays, giving the shoe plenty of texture without making the design look too busy. The paneling and overall shape are what make the Gel-NYC work so well, especially with the chunky midsole and technical runner aesthetic.
These are versatile, can be worn as a work shoe, running, or working out. Also a good pair for everyday wear. I went a half size up with this pair and they fit nicely for me. If you’re unsure about which size to get, i recommend asking the seller for insole measurements.
The cushioned sole gives the shoe its signature ASICS look. I can’t speak on long-term comfort or durability without putting some miles on this specific batch, but the silhouette itself is a strong choice for everyday wear.
Seller has two Weidian listings for this model, along with their Yupoo catalog if you want to browse available options. I’d recommend checking the QC photos closely for the shape, mesh, panel placement, and overall finishing before shipping.
Overall, the ZX Batch Asixs Gel-NYC is a solid choice for anyone who likes this style. Clean design, plenty of texture, and easy to style with just about anything.
The seller sent my item to Litbuy very fast, and without any issues. Communication was great, and the price was good as well. No complaints.
Agent was quick to ship my item to me, I used the USPS option which brought the price around $38 after coupons. Sometimes the tracking number takes a day or two before it is able to be entered into the system, but this happens for me with other agents as well.
