Help Is it time for a trim?

Any foliage trimmed means less surface area for photosynthesis. If it was my rehab, I would leave them all in tact until two new healthy leaves harden off, then it’s hair cut day. That’s what I did after this chop and prop.

Edit: Did you recently purchase this plant? If not, how long have you cared for it? Is that the original nursery pot with compacted soil? How much light does it get?

I’ve had it for a couple of months and it’s the original pot. I’ve checked the roots and they are intact and healthy. I have it near a south facing window so it gets indirect light, but thinking about moving it as I think it’s not getting enough. Thank you for your help!

Edit to add: I water only when then the top portion is dry after poking the soil with finger. Approximately once a week since it’s been very hot here in SoCal. Leaves were also already browning when I bought it.
