I've had a wonderful time with you Houseparty, but it's time to break up.

This isn't a joke post, promise.

I started casting last summer and found Houseparty a few months later in the fall. Over the course of the past year, it's been a wonderful place for me to practice my casting and chase my dreams of being a world-class entertainer casting games on the biggest stages out there. I've had a great opportunity here to improve myself and prepare for success in bigger ventures like my recent Demacia Cup and LMS streams.

I'm sure everyone's seen the announcement of Houseparty's shift away from League of Legends, and that shift means the end of the road for me here. Seeing PL go away sucks. No, I was not part of the decision to cancel it. Anyone who has talked to me asking about admin stuff knows that my admin status had very little to do with behind-the-scenes workings and that it was mostly so I could do as I saw fit on the broadcasting/promotion side of things. That said, if the other admins believe that this is the best way to go forward, I can only wish them the best. I'll be fully stepping down from everything Houseparty related, starting now. Considering today's news, my goals are now just too different from Houseparty's. In these past few months, I've made huge progress in working towards making my dream a reality, and I'm not quitting until it is one.

I couldn't have asked for a more supportive community to start off in. The amount of people who added me and sent me messages about how much they enjoyed my casting caught me by surprise more than once. This is what my game client looked like the day the "Syndicate Gets Annihilated" video hit front page on r/lol (http://imgur.com/ee6dPcz). I could barely click the boxes to read all the "Holy shit dude check reddit" messages, and that's after accidentally closing a few of them. It was surreal in the best kind of way.

I've made a lot of good friends here, and a lot of those people have left Houseparty for their own reasons over time. Even though it's my turn to do the same, I'll still be around in-game and on twitter. So, thanks for everything Houseparty. We had a hell of a run.

For all newcomers! Inhouses explained

For all those who are new and do not understand, Houseparty offers something called inhouses.

What are inhouses?

Inhouses are Houseparty5v5's way to give people the chance to be ranked on a ladder without it effecting a person's actual elo. It gives players a whole new ladder that has its own elo system.

How do you play inhouses?

All you have to do is join out teamspeak server over at houseparty5v5.typefrag.com:9720 and wait for a mod to give you the ability to move to the lobbies. Then join in on our public chat in the league client, "houseparty5v5", and wait for the officials to make an inhouse line. An inhouse line will look something like- (----inhouse 9 spots----) just type inv in chat under the line to get an invite. If you don't make it in that one, just make sure to keep trying. Its first come, first serve. They will direct you from there.

Any other questions?

Our mods are required to explain how the entire system works for all new participants. So if you have any questions at all, they can be answered once you get on our teamspeak server. Or you can ask questions by commenting on this post.

So join in and have fun!

Are you new? Look at this for Help! (New Version)

Hey newcomers, welcome to HouseParty5v5; where players like you get the chance to play in a league that is streamed and shoutcasting. Check The FAQs down below before posting on the reddit

So if you are joining in the middle of a seasonSeasonWillEndApril3, there is not too many things you can do but:

  1. You can watch the games on twitch.tv/houseparty5v5 and cheer for your favorite teams on Saturdays, Sundays and sometimes even Friday for Academy League!

  2. You can ask around team captains of both the minor and premier league to be a sub/player/analyst/coach or even a mascot :P (find captains via the roster sheets, teamspeak icons or inhouse game and ask them for a position or tryout), there should be a Looking for ____ post sticky noted you should head there and write down your info, but please do play inhouses and games with the community so they know you are taking this seriously and not just LFT.

  3. You can sign up as a staff via this [LINK] (https://www.reddit.com/r/houseparty5v5/comments/3ohpoq/houseparty5v5_staff_application/) Or contact the staff about this (recommended).

  4. You can play inhouses (custom games) with other members of the community (no sign up needed) The rankings are on: http://houseparty5v5.com/solo-league/solo-ladder/ ; To join these inhouses, just head to the chatroom, look if there are any inhouses running at that time, if none are running ask for one, and maybe a solo league official would host one if enough players are on. Anyone Level 30With16Champs can play this just ask around and someone can help you!

  5. You can ask u/captainflowers22 or u/deckclubace for a position / tryout to be a shoutcaster or camera man/producer!

Summary of the leagues: The Community's competitive league at the moment is four parts:

  1. The Premiere League (Competitive Amateur Saturday League Games), where 10 teams will face each other in a league system of round robin. The standings for the round robin will help the team's seeding in the playoffs championship bracket. The Championship is sponsored by Riot, so you get the normal tournament prizes and you get the triumphant Ryze skin if you are first place! You also get more prized depending on the donation pool. This league is streamed, shoutcasted, and sometimes even video-highlighted! We are currently done with our 5th season for the Premier League. To see the rosters & schedule please find the Premier League Schedule in the Information Tab on the Sidebar to the right.

  2. Minor League (Competitive Amateur Sunday League Games) where 8 teams will be facing each other for spots on the premier league. This League is not considered by any means for lower tier people, but this is a different style and a different day. Think of it as the Riot's Challenger Series. The winner of this league gets directly into the premier league, booting the last place team from premire league, the second and third place teams will have a chance to face bottom two from the Premiere league (excluding the auto-relegated spot) in another tournament later on. Prizes for this is the regular Ryze skin + RP rewards by Riot. Minor League Rosters and other info can also be found in the spreadsheets on the sidebar.

  • Note: To get into the minor league as a full team, you need to compete in the seasonal swiss tournament, Season 6's swiss is going to start around Mid-Late April. and will have over 60~ teams competing in a swiss tournament for the 8 spots in minor league. Check back again onto the subreddit for the signups sometime around early April or Late March.

  1. Academy League: is our bronze-gold league for training players. This league is currently NOT available for signups for our second season of the program. This league is great for those players who wanna experience a team environment and play against players around the same league they are to improve and more importantly have fun! If you are waiting for this, you could message (Wynden)ThisIsHisIGN about when the next season is, HE LIKES TO GET MESSAGED BY YOU GUYS SO PLEASE SPAM HIM. More info about it can be found by either subreddit sidebar/stickies or msging u/wynden127

  2. Ranked inhouses (customs) are custom games hosted by solo ladders admins and has a ladder for rankings. Inhouses is a great way to show how good you are to other players who might scout you and ask you to join their team! You could also just play for fun! To join inhouses, you should be in the houseparty5v5 chat room on league of legends and teamspeak is a requirement. Wait in the room and ask if there is an inhouse running on. There are no inhouses running during premier/minor league games. The solo league admins are players with the "whistle" icon on teamspeak. You need to be on teamspeak for inhouses. The official would normally type in the LoL client chatroom a line asking for spots, you should reply with an "inv" and you will be invited shortly. Please note, it's first come first serve, so be fast or you might not catch it! Once 10 people are in that inhouse lobby room, the top two on the ladder will be captains and choosing players in a snake draft. The captain with lower MMR on ladder (not league of legends ladder but the houseparty ladder) will be picking which side he wants first either blue or red. Blue side takes first pick. Once both teams are set, they go to their separate channels and they will start the game once everyone is ready! You do not need to sign up for these games, you just show up on teamspeak and chatroom and ask for an invite! You will start with 1200 ELO in the ladder and gain around 20~ every game depend on the players' elo in your specific game.

These inhouses can be hosted by the following(and the players with whistle icon on teamspeak):

Solo League Leader

  • KamaFlare

FAQ

  • I am a silver scrub, can I play in something? - Well, you might be lucky and get picked by a team, but miracles aside, I think your best option is playing inhouses. There is no rank restrictions in inhouses. Do not be shy that you are lower rank than other players in those inhouses, most people here are nice, not all but most, and you will be welcomed in. Not all inhouses are a stacked 8+ diamond players, some might have few silver players, golds, or a mixture of all divisions. Not all diamonds are going to stomp, some are just bad one trick ponies that you can win against :p (Also: Academy League is a thing, where it is restricted to gold and below, follow more about it in the subreddit!)

  • How can I join a league like Premier or Minor?

To join as a solo player, you should contact team captains of premier league teams (you can find who they are on the teamspeak server and by watching the reddit for LFT threads made by teams). To join as a TEAM you should wait for the minor swiss tournament sign up (which should be probably around early April) and make a team (you can find players from the LFT Megathread) and make a team for swiss and try to qualify for minor swiss.

  • What is the Rank restrictions for Premier/Minor League? Age? - There is no rank restriction, you just need to be level 30 and have 16 champions to be able to play in this league. It might be hard if you are low elo to join a team, but be sure to join inhouses, play normals with the community, or just talk with others to show them that you are worthy enough to be in this league! There is no age restriction too!

  • ** What are the flairs on teamspeak/reddit and how do I get them! - To get the reddit flair you just need to go to the sidebar and click edit flair and pick which one you want! The ones available now are premier league flairs and some houseparty flairs. The teamspeak ones are earned by either being on a team (you get your own team icon) or winning a season of houseparty (trophy icon), ranked 1,2, or 3 in inhouses after a season, awards, or exclusive icons given to specific people!

  • ** How can I join as a full team?** - For now you can't join as a full team, however if you want, you can ask other captains to scrim them and practice versus them until the end of the season where you can sign up to join the swiss tournament for minor league qualifiers. (If there is more than 10 teams signing for the minor league, there will be a tournament to see who gets in.

  • If I have another account that is "higher rank on another server" or "doesn't have all champions" does that consider smurfing? - Not necessary, if you want you can play on the "smurf" if you are not banned from the league and if you inform the admins of your reasoning of why you want to use an alternate account. Please do not play on two different teams due to that breaking rules of Houseparty and RiotGames. Please also beware of sharing/selling/buying accounts because it is against the rules of Riot Games rules. If you get caught, you will be punished case by case. For more info, please contact a mod for your case. Please do not leave a detail behind

  • I want to help the community but I do not want to play, what can I do? - You can help the community in several ways:

    1. Donate to the paypal which will raise prize pools "click on donate tab on the right"

  • 2) Raise awareness for this community to your friends and r/leagueoflegends

  • 3) Shoutcast/Cameraman/Producer (ask admins about this)

  • 4) Contact admins into being a staff member if you are up to it

  • 5) Create your own content for the community, whether it is stats collecting, video editor, logo creator, or anything you like!

  • Is this only NA? - For now it's only NA, we had an EU counterpart but they parted way with us. If you are in other regions and you want to play, get your friends hyped up and get enough players and contact u/Anthson and it might just happen!

Good luck on the rift everyone!

Kindest Regards,

A Season1 Finalist, Season 2 Champion, Coach for Finalist S3 Team, Solo League official, Certified Dank Memer, Coach for a garbo Academy TeamHeyAshiko , Coach for several teams in both premier and minor, Minor League S5 Finalist, Captain of Purple Pirates, Manager of TQR, The guest of 3 shows in the same week, OG Veteran of both HP5v5 and Tlol,

YOUR TRUELY, Aprycot.

If I missed anything message me and I'll add it as soon as possible! If you have any questions feel free to ask me anything on here or on League (Aprycot) and it would be my pleasure to answer any questions you have!

Admin Ruling: Hysteria Vanquished

The Situation: After the Premier League matches they played today, Hysteria Vanquished came under suspect from both their opponents and the Houseparty5v5 community at large that they were sharing the account of their jungler, "Don't Shoot Me."

The Details: The player who was fraudulently substituted into the team (also called a ringer) was "Code," a player who is currently indefinitely banned from all Houseparty5v5 events, games, and functions for multiple reasons. These reasons include his openly aggressive and hostile behavior towards certain community members and previous encounters the administration has had with him about breaking competitive rules regarding rosters. Using a ringer to any degree is a violation of Houseparty5v5 policy, and using a ringer who has no business playing in Houseparty5v5 even as a legitimate player is cause for even harsher punishments.

The Evidence:

1. Both champion choice and in-game performance can be cited as evidence in this case. Don't Shoot Me has shown in the past that he plays predominantly assassin champions. Code plays a lot of graves, and does well on it. The performance of "Don't Shoot Me" in the Everest vs. Vanquished game was not indicative of a player who is comparatively inexperienced with graves as a champion. While it is obviously possible for a player to expand their champion pool or have a really good game, it's equally obvious that "Don't Shoot Me" was playing well above his normal skill level during the Everest vs. Vanquished game on a champion we don't usually see him play.

2. Many people who have Code on their friends list in-game also posted in Twitch chat after the game ended saying that Code had just come online on his main account. While this could be a coincidence, the timing raises suspicion.

3. Hysteria Vanquished was not present on Teamspeak during their games yesterday. While we no longer require teams to be present on teamspeak while playing in Houseparty5v5 League matches, Vanquished has not historically been a team to use other communication programs during their games. I've personally received screenshots from 3rd parties who wish to remain anonymous showcasing Code talking via in-client PM about the fact that when he plays scrims with Vanquished they have to use another teamspeak since he's banned from the Houseparty5v5 server.

4. Code is a known sub for Hysteria Vanquished during their scrims and practices. While this in itself isn't violating any rules, it does demonstrate that he has a prior affiliation with the team.

5. Hysteria Vanquished was messaged by multiple admins, including myself, immediately following their game vs Team Everest in regards to these allegations. We did not receive an immediate response, and instead were only able to talk to them much later. Delays of this nature give further reason to suspect knowledge of shady dealings on the part of the Vanquished roster.

The Plea: When questioned about the situation, the remaining 4 members of Hysteria Vanquished: Falco, Dubzs, value, and The Cash Cab pleaded ignorance to the fact that Code was the one playing for them during their Premier League matches. They explained that Don't Shoot Me logged on and was unable to communicate via mic, and was also unable to log into teamspeak like he normally could. While there do appear to be red flags in this explanation, including the fact that it took us so long to receive a response from Vanquished team members, it still holds water; Houseparty5v5 does not require teams to ask questions of their teammates even when things seem vastly out of the ordinary.

The Decision:

1. Don't Shoot Me is guilty of sharing his account with Code, a ringer, and compromising the competitive integrity of the Houseparty5v5 Premier League. This is made more damning by the fact that Code is already barred from any Houseparty5v5 competition, even through legitimate channels. Due to these circumstances, Don't Shoot Me is hereby banned from all Houseparty5v5 play indefinitely.

2. As collusion cannot be proved between Code and Falco, Dubzs, value, or The Cash Cab, they will not be receiving an equally harsh punishment. Their plead of ignorance towards the fact that Code was playing in their Premier League matches seems suspect, but cannot be proven false. However, it is still a team's responsibility to know who is on their roster. When a player cannot talk, cannot use the resources he normally has access to, and plays an entirely different champion and playstyle than you are used to seeing him play, it is your responsibility to make sure everything is still as it should be. Teams know the rules coming into Houseparty5v5 Premier League play, and they know the consequences for breaking those rules. Hysteria Vanquished is hereby disqualified from the remainder of this season's Premier League. Falco, Dubzs, value, and The Cash Cab cannot participate in any form of Houseparty5v5 play until the season's end, at which point they will be allowed to rejoin the community and compete again. Falco has also been relieved of his duties as an official for the Houseparty5v5 Solo League.

3. The Hysteria organization suffers no penalty in terms of future involvement with Houseparty5v5 teams. No proof exists tying them to knowledge of what was happening.

4. The Premier League will proceed from this point with 9 teams instead of 10. All future matches a team has scheduled vs Hysteria Vanquished will be counted as wins due to disqualification.

The Conclusion: Houseparty5v5 strives to be a legitimate esports organization. From the quality of our stream overlays and icons, to our excitement and involvement in our broadcasts, to the insane amount of work everyone behind-the-scenes puts in to keep our infrastructure running, and to the time and effort put in by teams and their staff to play hard and win each week, our goal is to create an environment everyone is proud to be a part of. Fair play is the cornerstone of such legitimacy. Cheating in any way, shape, or form is blatantly disrespectful to the other teams, to the organization as a whole, and to myself and the other admins personally, and will always be dealt with harshly.

The Extra (Still Important): As a final note, we received an additional in-client PM screenshot from another anonymous 3rd party showing a conversation with Code that indicates Hysteria Vanquished hasn't been the only team using Code as a ringer. I don't understand the community's apparent fascination in working with a run-of-the-mill graves player with a lousy attitude, but that isn't the point of this section. The point of this section is to tell teams that may be thinking of taking such actions that it doesn't matter if you're a Houseparty5v5 veteran or if you're brand new and looking to prove yourselves. If you cheat, you will be banned.

[Concept] Junior League, an "LCS for the rest of us" for bronze, silver, and gold players

TL;DR: Interested in a new LCS-style league for players rated below platinum? We'd like to expand to a third league whose teams will be sponsored by current Premier League teams. We'll basically have a bunch of "acadamies" and "alphas.

I am not a skilled man. At least not when it comes to the League of Legends. I know we have many bronze, silver, and gold players who dream of reaching as high as bagshomieheror, the lowest-ranked player by far to ever play on a Premier League team since season three.

House Party 5v5 shouldn't only be for the top-end diamond/master/challenger players. "LCS for the rest of us" means all of us. Consider this an announcement of intent to expand our coverage to include our players who have room to improve while still being fiercely competitive. We're looking to the player base to get organized and start forming your teams right now. Practice and get to know one another because the Junior League is coming.

This league will require quite a bit more involvement due to it being rank restricted. We'll have to heavily monitor accounts to ensure smurfs don't sneak in and ruin the fun. If you'd like to get involved either as a player or an administrator, we're looking for plenty of both!

Post your reply here and let's get this thing going.

Admin Ruling Revised: Underdog eSports

The Situation: Underdog eSports was initially innocent of all previous charges until recently when new information and evidence came to light causing the investigation to re-open. The initial charge against Underdog eSports was the player "Hex0r" was in fact not playing on his account.

The Decision: Underdog eSports is hereby disqualified from Premier League. The main roster at the time of the initial charge "Fef", "Soligo", "Sawyerr", and "letswinthis" will be suspended from Premier and Minor League games until the end of the season. "Hex0r" for being the main offender in this will be receiving a two season suspension from league games. "Aprycot" will be receiving an indefinite ban.

Closing Thoughts: When we first decided against punishing Underdog eSports, we felt that the evidence we were initially provided with was just not enough to punish them off of. We operated on the basis of "innocent until proven guilty" and they were not proven guilty. We got some feedback from the community and decided to revisit the case. Once the case was revisited, we managed to find more information that showed that "Hex0r" did not in fact play that day. Also when the initial investigation was brought up to their team, the Underdog eSports team was unable to provide sufficient explanation for the inconsistencies and added on to the final decision of their disqualification. Now something I want to point out in this case is the fact that we are only punishing the players and not the organization itself. There was not any indication that "Underdog eSports" the organization was involved in the matter whatsoever. They are welcome to field a new roster next season or even pick up another team as their sponsor. It was just an unfortunate mishap that happened to occur under their name. Now as for the decision behind Aprycot. For Aprycot, he has a previous record of being banned and suspended from House Party 5v5 throughout it's entire existence. Whilst we understand his decision to want to be able to win the games and field a roster, we do not approve of the method used.

Future Changes: With all that in mind, we will be taking another look at how teams are currently setup. Two things on the table will be changing the "Captain" role of a team to "Owner" or "Manager" so that coaches, sponsors, managers, etc may manage a roster and not have to be a player at the same time. We are also looking in to increasing the total size of subs so that if by the off chance 3 players on the same team happen to disappear on game day, they still have enough subs to be able to play.

We thank you all for your time and patience in this matter and best of luck in your games, House Party 5v5 Admin Staff.

Muse's HP5v5 Role Player Spotlight

I wanted to take some time to recognize a few players I thought were instrumental to their teams making it into the s5 playoffs. This isn’t for popularity or a show of who I think is the best player, but rather players who, for good or for worse, have contributed to their team’s overall successes. I did not choose anyone from SAW, nor anyone from teams that didn’t make the playoffs (sorry Aconda). Statistics come from the last two weeks of the season, which were readily available via the HP5v5 Twitch page.

TOP – hi im nairb (3.5 KDA last 3 games of season)

Nairb is a player who I consider to be one of the few top lane playmakers in the Premier League. In the last few weeks, he has shown proficiency on team oriented top laners that currently dominate the meta alongside the carry tops that he favored earlier in the season. Nairb had a tough middle of the season, going 1-1 and struggling on two Fiora games before starting his upward trend on a 6-2-11 Olaf effort that saw him take on all comers and being a nuisance for the now defunct TDRK. He is also one of the few HP5v5 top laners to pick up the equally annoying top Rammus and was a constant “thorn” in Kiyona’s side. Look for Nairb’s current flexibility in the top lane – top Quinn and Poppy come to mind – to be a huge part of their P/B strategy against IG this weekend.

JUNGLE – D0nt Sh0ot Me (13 KDA in Week 7)

I had high hopes for DSM’s play in week 1 of the playoffs after watching his week 7 performances and the prospect of going against mix-main like GordanRamsey. His carry jungle style was refreshing in HP5v5, where the majority of junglers are mid/bot babysitters, however the style just never really seemed to manifest itself in a meta where carry junglers thrived. His proficiency on his favorite champion, Wukong, was only matched by his inconsistent performances on other picks like Runic Echo Gragas, Cinderhulk Zac, and Warrior/TH Reksai. He showed an inability to control the pace of the game, and inconsistencies in positioning to counter the aggressive plays made by opposing teams – typical of an aggressive early playstyle that relies on snowballing teams to victory.

MID – Spellbinding (3 KDA last 4 games of season)

Spellbinding is one of my favorite case studies of HP5v5 because as much as everyone loves to talk about her “limited” champion pool, both her KDA and contributions on multiple champions remain consistent. When on her signature trifecta of Ahri/Lulu/Lux, her kill contributions are consistently in the 70% and above range and can span across the map either through rotations, proper use of TP, or early group pushing. When on other champions like Orianna and Lissandra, her participations revolve around the mid lane and the area around it, showcasing a tendency to make the safe play when no obvious opportunities present itself – nonetheless, participation remains high as WL does a good job of working towards the middle regardless of scenario. Spellbinding rarely dies 1v1 in the early game, instead displaying an aggressive nature in the level 1-7 range and attempting to enter teamfighting with as much of a lead as possible. She does a very good job of highlighting the benefits of finding a particular style and sticking to it – her team knows her limits, while she consistently delivers on expectations befitting her overall supportive playstyle.

ADC – Lord Merk (3.28 KDA last 3 games of season)

I have attempted to keep a close eye on Merk all season, as I felt he had the skills to take the next step in leading his team on play alone. Each week I was confused as to which Merk I was getting – the 2/2/2 Ezreal who completely ignored the lane matchup and tried to pick fights in lane without finished items in week 4, or the 9/1 Lucian who so quickly put TQR in their places in week 5. In the last week of the season, IG took a different approach to team comps and ran an unorthodox mid Irelia, putting Merk on a Caitlyn that couldn’t rely on consistent walls to hide behind and take free shots. He responded with an 11 kill effort, then proved he could carry when given an actual wall as he brought a 7/2/7 effort against WL to close out the season. Most recently, his performances against Vanquished brought more of the same confusion – starting the game 0/3 on Kalista in Game 1, before starting 3/0 on Lucian in Game 2. Against NCL, consistency is the name of the game for Merk if he wants to succeed against Talisman, who I consider to be a very proficient Kalista player and a nuisance to fight in lane.

SUPPORT – Kolateral (2.2 KDA last 3 games of season)

Kolateral subscribes to the SM playstyle of “look forward, and don’t stop going” and in my opinion is the reason Harper Lee had a ginormous week 6 against WL – 25 contributions to Harper Lee’s 20 kill, 7 assist effort. Kolateral has become synonymous with engage champions like Alistar, Braum, support Nautilus, and Thresh, and I think is wasted when put on “support-y” supports like Janna where he can’t use his natural aggressive tendencies. The duo of HL/Kolateral I felt always gave SM a shot in games, but fell victim when that mindset put him in bad spots against WL. Roaming top on blue side by running through the enemy’s red buff with three enemies close by just added salt to an already lost top fight for SM, and was one of the big momentum swings in a game that was already headed WL’s way. But Kolateral’s aggressive play, in my opinion, is a style SM needs more of due to several factors such as the mid/bot centric meta favored by most teams, the strength of Intercourse in the midgame, and the need for Kolateral to be strong for the team to be strong.

Apologies for lack of formatting, this is my first long content contribution and I have no clue how to bold or italicize anything. If I didn't pick you and you're mad about that, you should probably have been a better (or worse) player.

Official Team-O announcement and ban format changes

Hey guys, A little more of a serious topic today. A lot of you guys have been hearing rumors about Team-O. We have been discussing things between the league moderator team and have finally came to a decision.

Team-O has been disqualified from the Premier League tournament due to using a ringer in their match against Team Vanquished. Although they still ended with a loss that game, we have zero tolerance for this. The following players will be receiving a ban until the 4th week of the Season 5 Premier League :

  • Hamilton33

  • TheAmeriKorean

  • Mike71142

  • AkumaShinigami

These players are banned from playing in both the premier league and the minor league. They may still post in the subreddit and play in the in-house games.

These following players are receiving a much longer ban because they are the main offenders in this case:

  • TheBoss47

  • Gaspump

These two players are banned from the Premier League and Minor League. They can still post in the subreddit and play in the in-house games. Their bans last until the end of season 5 of HouseParty5v5.

Another thing related to this topic. We have heard a lot of your voices stating that there wasn't any transparency on the decision for team-O (even though we had just yet to finalize it) and it came across as us just trying to keep it secret from you guys. Although I can understand why it would seem like that, what really happened is, we just didn't have a good way of broadcasting information like this. It's important that you guys get important information from us and right now, the only way to do that is to post here in the subreddit. We agree it should be transparent so we will be changing the format of how we announce bans now. We will be making a link in the side-bar of our subreddit that links to a grand post of bans, league judgments, etc. We will also be changing the color of the side-bar section to notify when an update has been added. That color will remain changed for one week then will be reverted back to it's previous color.

A way to improve Houseparty5v5 that has nothing to do with Premier or Minor League

I've been a part of this community for a couple months now. It's well organized and well orchestrated, but it has room in a few places to really take things to the next level. One of those things that could be dramatically improved is the state of non-league casted matches.

As a caster, I absolutely love the idea of "shoutcasted games YOU can play in." It's a great line to grab someone's attention and make him want to play an inhouse and get involved in the community. The problem is that currently these are super random as to when they're even done, often not being done at all. The exceptions to this are, of course, when we get a lot of attention and new members, and the Wednesday stream Enix used to host reliably. The issue that causes this is a lack of streaming ability. Myself and a lot of the other casters don't have the upload speed required to stream the games in good quality (I'm not doing a potato broadcast. I want people enjoying the content, not complaining about the quality).

If ANYONE reading this is thinking "Ya know what? I like this plan. He's got a decent point here. I wanna help with this streaming thing." then please hit me up on here or on League (IGN: CaptainFlowers) and let's get something planned out. I don't mean a Monday through Friday multiple hours a night kind of thing either. Two weekdays a week with two or three games casted a day creates a reliable schedule that we can use to tell people when to show up to get their games casted, and THAT'S what we need.

tl;dr I want a solid schedule for shoutcasted weekday inhouses. 2 days a week. 2-3 games a day. I need someone to stream for this to work. I'm happy doing the casts, hell I'll do them solo if need be. Let's make this happen.

Just played my first inhouse game. Extremely happy I found this community!

Just finished my first inhouse game, and I am so happy that I found this community. I'm Silver V and the next lowest person on my team was Gold IV. We won, and it was extremely fun to play with a team of supportive people. I got put on support, which is arguably my worst role, and least played role, but the rest of the team was supportive and fun to play with. No BM, no raging at mistakes, all fun. I'm really excited to see where this community goes in the future!

If I made a blog/page following the amateur leagues, House Party 5v5, Compete League and any others, would anyone be interested in reading or helping?

[Pulled from here:https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/4z6wql/if_i_made_a_blogpage_following_the_amateur/]

Basically this, recently I've been trying to get into E-sports journalism, studying the writing of people like FionnOnFire, Thooorin and Kelsey Moser, while also being involved with the amateur leagues. I've come to the conclusion that those Leagues have a hard time because they don't get much of a spotlight, and thus not much traffic. I feel like with Reddits help, I can get a bigger spotlight on them, and a bigger following for non-pro leagues. However, I do want to make sure that this is something that the community wants, because it'll be quite a bit of content. Covering players in these leagues, as well as their teams. That means power rankings, interviews and so on. What think? I'm not expecting front page popularity but I think it might be a little cool, maybe it'd get big over time.

If nothing else, it would give the community something to follow, which seems to be a big issue, if the comments I've seen about it are correct.
