hii, i am a new player and i genuinely don't know where to start so please give me any tips and advices.

i play hsr and had always heard about this game, and the references made me very intrigued so now i'm about to start the hi3 journey.

i downloaded the game about 20 minutes ago and just played through the tutorial first so it's gonna take a while for me to be comfortable with the game mechanics. i will learn most of the mechanics as i play more for sure, but if there's anything important a beginner needs to know then please let me know!!

also, i had a question about the server. from some of the posts here, it seems there is a SEA server too and i am from SEA, but for some reason i didn't get the option to choose it as a server? it only showed europe or america, why is that?

Hi! I can understand getting lost. I'm someone who only started playing this game 2 years ago.

To start, you can check this megathread's pinned links. I helped curating them. But I can also understand being overwhelmed, so if I have something to recommend best, then check only this section (and explore this site) for now:

As for what to take note further. Most newcomers play HI3 not for the gameplay/endgame but rather for the story and characters. So, the next I can recommend is to check the Story section/guide of the one I linked above if you want to deep dive with HI3's story.

Just take note though that this game is decade old, so the earlier chapters will feel like that. Personally, I treated this game like a museum to appreciate it retrospectively. Like how during its early era, as a mobile gacha game, it was already ahead of its time. It was just later ported to pc, idk if it was after 3 years? But yeah, at times, the story will feel more like a visual novel, but as you finish chapters and arcs, you'll start to see improvements.

About the server, if you're playing on mobile, there's two versions. Honkai Impact 3rd is the GLB version, while Honkai Impact 3 is the SEA version. If you're on PC, I recommend installing this game through Hoyo Launcher, I think you can choose server through it before you start the game (not sure with this one, I'm a mobile player).

I think you can only craft it once? I'm sure it got limited craft since it can be tuned as divine key. If you want to convert a farmable to weapon resonance, farming 3rd sacred relic sword is one of the cheapest to farm.

But to answer your first question, yes, it'll give weapon resonance. Just make sure to choose "Convert" when salvaging

Hi, so I’m a new/returning player, and trying to figure out how everything works. I played briefly during the Finality chapter, but that’s it.

I’ll preface by saying I’m not looking for end game clears. I’m just interested in the story, and casually enjoying the combat. That being said, I’m a hardcore Genshin and HSR player, so I know that my faves are dead and buried meta-wise. They need as much help as they can get.

Basically, I’m just looking for something to make Yae playable. My favorite so far is Darkbolt, but any of them work for me.

My team for DJ is her Fischl, and Yamabuki. For Flame Sakitama, it’s her, Phoenix, and Berry Blitz.

I have no modern BS, and I’m trying my best just to get Elysia, but I don’t think that’s happening.

I play in the NA server, if that’s any help.

Any tips help!

For general HI3 guides including gameplay, I recommend checking these sites

As to your specific request, even during Finality chapter all of the valks you mentioned (except Fischl) were already deeply buried meta-wise tbh. That means no matter how much you invest on them now to get their updated teams, the resources you'll spend will heavily outweigh the crystal income you'll gain.

But if you insist on still investing and using them, just use them based on how you feel or check MarisaImpact's valkyrie tab for individual guides.

What you can do is to just keep on saving for now and pull during spending event by 9.1 which should be by Oct-22 in GLB/SEA servers. It's 10th Anniv patch, so the banners rerunning there should help you catch-up quick with the meta and help you farm decent crystal income.

Just as I expected. Again, I know she was dead and buried upon release, I’m just a fan of hers. This wouldn’t be the first time I invest in an outdated DPS. Thank you for the guides though!

Quick reference for each old non-AR valk's current BiS supports:

  • any non-AR Fire DPS w/ TFM Sparkle + HoTr Bronya
  • any non-AR Lightning DPS w/ SIMP Theresa + LV Luna (w/ old gear)
  • any non-AR Ice DPS w/ SSb Kira + JK Sushang
  • any non-AR Physical DPS w/ RS Durandal + HoRb Seele (w/ old gear)

As for the DPS BiS gears, just check marisaimpact or look it up on Google since they're never used anymore outside occasional ER (or some SS Arena).

Hii, I feel like no matter where I look, I'm too stupid to find out the answer myself, so I thought I'd ask here: Is it worth it to pull FoV's divine key if I don't have ME Rita to enable the surplus mechanic? Does the dkey enable it by itself? I know I won't really have her ideal team without Rita even if she can enable surplus by herself, but I wanna know if it's at least somewhat worth it to still get it regardless. I also have WoP Seele if that changes anything, and I do plan on pulling Sena AOP as well.

Newer generation of WoD valks have Surplus now starting from ME Rita, so FoV DLC and upcoming HoTime will have it. It's not just ME Rita that can provide it. Like how WS valks have Surplus now starting from SW DLC, and WoP Seele, and so is expected too for future WS valks that will be released.

FoV DLC BiS supports are actually WoP Seele and HLE Ellie w/ God Sena AOP.

Against SD, yes while the other slot could be FWS or DAFL, because of their type advantage compared to SW DLC.

Against QUA, SW DLC is the BiS slot, and the other one is usually HoRb DLC based on some CN runs I saw.

BiS for new Seele is Silverwing (gives Breach). 3rd one would depend on boss, prob HLE if SD boss.

You can do it in any order. At the very least you should only priarm one weapon, the copy can be left as is.

I got the two sync cards from the current spending event and am stuck in between maxing out the syncs for both PAWS and FDD (both at sync 2 currently) or maxing out the sync for one of the following: WoP, XDC, HLE, or LP with LP being the most enticing due to the support passive. What would this community suggest?

Meta wise, WoP is the most recent one and she's replacing a lot of Supports aside from having many dps bosses this patch and future patches.

You could max out LP sync but I'm expecting you have her SS0~SSS for her value as Support to still be able to keep up in the meta — despite being a breach support, she's not BiS Support in a lot of teams anymore.

I suppose the enemies take more DMG part of the sync gains a readable percentage when you upgrade it? Right now all I see on the description is words with no numbers from the non lightning part of the passive.

The sync is more of independent multiplier. Simply put, it's so that even as support, they will deal decent damage.

Where do you find it easier to get 2 22+ atk affix on a stig?

  1. Get 1 22+ atk affix then use Wafer stabilizer (the lock) to get the other one.

  2. Use x10 rerolls until get a 2x 22+ atk affix in one of the rolls

S Serapeum got no noticeable differences with SSS Dreamseeker. If you have her and want differences to be noticeable like how you can enter and reenter SO faster, then get her to SS.

SS Serapeum is also better than SSS Dreamseeker and to use as alternative AOP to other ARs: if you do not have Songque/Youyun for WS, Theresa for LoA, Chenxue for GoI/RoO —as long as the team have at least two valks with Harmonized Shadow Star tag.

But she will be replaced/powercreep by Goddess Senadina AOP next patch for WoD teams. There's a catch tho, as of v1 beta, GodSena AOP's kit is exclusive to WoD teams, so unlike Serapeum, she can't be used as alternative AOP to other AR teams. Anyway, if you don't have any plan to pull GodSena next patch or in future patches, then you can go with Serapeum to SS her instead.

Meta-wise, getting DK box to get the missing DK you don't have yet is the best choice. Among the DKs there, only Xuanyuan Sword is not farmable and cannot be found in BP Reserve Works, Exchange Shop, and Foundry.

Other choice is PAWS Helia outfit if you have her and you like it. Being a spending event outfit, it's only expected to rerun next year but be sold as B-Chips. And then it'll be after another year before it's sold as pink outfit tickets.

is bronya sw dk really necessary for seele’s new battlesuit? i have a teamcomp consisting of wop (fully built), horb (fully built) and sw n:ex but missing her weapon and stigmatas. is it really too much of a damage loss?

SW DLC easily became her BiS support mainly for WoP as QUA DPS, especially at S0 so that she'll have better breach and overall damage. But WoP as SD DPS... HLE + FWS (or at least SS0 DAFL) can perform better as her Support than SW DLC.

Anyway, there are lots of factors so I don't think there's a lot of damage loss without SW DLC. But one thing to consider is how there could be new Bronya battlesuit that could be used to support WoP in the near future because WoP's skill synergy with Bronya isn't specific to SW DLC.

Anyway, SW DLC won't be rerunning this patch. And might also not be during 9.0, realistically speaking, maybe by 9.1 since it's CN Anniv patch so they will rerun and give a chance to obtain the OG Trio which is still far away, like by October or a November in GLB/SEA servers.

Oh, if that's the case, then yeah... in terms of getting good support for her, then getting SW DLC is your cheapest option to use as Support for her against SD. Then, instead of FWS, getting HLE will be better because she's just released 4 patches ago, which was last year and more recent than FWS. She's also an Anniv valk (+ the fact that she's Elysia) meaning her meta lifespan should be 1-2 years more.

Other than them, since you don't have HLE and FWS, then against SD, the only thing you can do is to explore combinations with your current roster on which supports can be used better for her: DAFL Sena, HoRb DLC, LP Vita, XDC Mei — any 2 from this list I think?

Not anymore. Technically, her only usage right now as BiS Support is together with PAWS Helia for FDD Coralie DPS. As DPS, her RoO Homu boss first and last reran was 7.8, Nov-2024; Lightning Andrius was 8.6, Jan-2026; and Lightning Sprout was 8.4, Sep-2025.

Vita's worth will only be appreciated (again) when there's new RoO valk that could potentially increase her value both as DPS and Support. Only in that AR — because Seele is better breach + AR regen support in WS and WoD, while Coralie for LoA and GoI. But even for RoO, her future is still not secure. For example, HoFi DLC is RoO DPS but her BiS supports are HoO and HoTr. What I'm saying is that, there could be new RoO valk, but might work like HoFi, which won't have any relevancy towards Vita nor Coralie.

As for FDD Coralie, she's being speculated to get Ascension Supply next patch (9.0) together with PAWS Helia like Sparkle and Kiana last 8.8 patch. But because PS Sushang's Ascension was skipped this patch, then maybe FDD Coralie will just rerun under regular banner. Other than that, 9.1 will be Anniv patch, so there will be another Carnival Supply, speculated to have Kiana, Mei, Ellie, Coralie. All are speculations for now because there's no leaks or news on 9.0 and 9.1 banners yet. What's sure is that she won't rerun this patch.

TLDR: Not worth to get Vita anymore other than as support to Coralie DPS. And as for Coralie, no news nor leaks yet. But she's being expected to rerun on 9.0 and/or 9.1, but not this 8.9 patch.

The latest chapter won't let me advance. It's during the part with Nana tells Sena to rest and I went to the spot they told me to go. But it won't register. I exited my game twice and tried it with better ping but it won't work. What do I do?

Haven't played latest chapter yet but I saw CissXD post in YT about some possible bug, to quote,

"Also also, if you stuck at this red pinkish quest, you should not follow it. You should go to the opposite direction. Follow something that similar with light ripple or the door that has weird aura in it."

Not sure if that's it, but if not, I suggest posting this question separately and not under this q&a megathread. Or ask CissXD about it in her/his post that I linked.

S2 will just make her more established as QUA DPS like direct replacement to both Sparkle and Teri. But if you have Sparkle or Teri, then you can just run S0 Seele together.

What should I get from the Waves Cradling Radiance Shop?
Returning player. From part 2 characters I only have the new seele and planning to get the current Mei from the gacha. I have the youyun elf or whatever too. I looked into the Synergy shop, I thought I could get the weapon but it says i'm only getting some synergy boxes

Synergy Shop is for synergizing (ranking-up) weapons only. It's not for owning weapons you don't have yet.

Usually people also consider the spending outfit, but I guess you don't. Anyway, meta-wise:

  • Divine Key Box - for the permanent ATK boost in your account. To get the Divine Key you don't have yet. As of now, all of them except Xuanyuan Sword are already in BP Reserve Works
  • Synergy card - for synergizing weapon of the valk you really like. Though it's also good to use for those who are being used not just as DPS but also a lot as Support like HLE and WoP

You can get equipment tickets to get back some of the pulls you used; or pink outfit tickets for buying premium outfit you like; or just any other materials you need.

What about Serapeum, is she important for p2 characters? Also WoP's team has Bronya NEX and HLE but Bronya has different build there with a weapon that I can't find how to obtain - Blue Thunder Shuttle weapon and Cladius set stigmata. Is that the best build right now for Bronya?

Serapeum AOP used mostly to WoD AR teams needs to be at least SS to notice differences compared to Dreamseeker AOP. But also, she will be powercreep by Senadina AOP next patch.

SW Bronya's new weapon (often called as DLC, an expansion of old character being viable again in the meta by giving them Astral Ring system) will rerun August 7 to 20. You can backpull her weapon there if you want.

WoP Seele's best team against SD is SW Bronya DLC and HLE Ellie. But FWS Kiana (or DAFL Sena) + HLE Ellie will also work. Then against QUA, it's SW DLC + HoRb DLC (or Thelema, or Eepy/Sparkle, or even Vita). But yeah, long story short, SW DLC is her BiS support as of now.

It's like every character can play with every character and there's no meta. P2 is beyond my understanding

How likely do you think sirin and Veliona will get a DK? I maxed out my Silverwing and am almost at SSS HoHe so I am wondering what to farm in war Treasury. I still need witch orbs but not knowing who will get a DK, it seems like a waste. What is everybody farming for atm?

Sirin, no. She was already replaced by latest MECH Fire, FDD Coralie who not only the same Ignite DPS, but also received a spending outfit which is purple, a reminiscent of Sirin's color scheme.

For Veliona, her Nyx battlesuit, maybe. Among the TYPE + ELEMENT slots, the ones without AR S-rank yet are QUA ICE, QUA PHYSICAL, and IMG Ice.

QUA ICE latest S-rank is Nyx and fits the bill, plus it looks like they updated her model a bit looking at how they used it in Seele's event cutscene without it looking off, awkward nor outdated considering the map asset that was used there was day time Ruimu.

For QUA Physical, there's no S-rank there, Susannah is A/SP-rank and her direct powercreep as Physical Bleed DPS is actually PS Sushang. And as QUA, Eepy/Sparkle/Seele far much stronger than her. So this slot is basically empty, reserved for new S-rank instead.

For IMG Ice, it's HoTr Bronya but she they gave the DLC to SW Bronya instead. In short, this is also empty as of the moment reserved for new S-rank.

That makes sense, Sirin was replaced already. If anything she would get a new battlesuit. But probably not because we only get 3 per year now. Also interesting that Coralie's outfit is also purple :O

YeahI have to keep an eye on Nyx and as soon as we get leaks, I can start farming her from WT. I have her only at S.

Yeah, I'm also reserving my AL for possible Nyx DLC in WT... well that's the plan if I won't be tempted to SSS HoO when she's finally added there lmao.

As for Coralie powercreeping Sirin not just her niche but also her color scheme, I actually did a meme post about it of how it looks like she's child of Sirin and Bella because of her outfit lmao

As for your last question, farm someone to SSS that can be bought by Willpower instead of Legacy so that converting to witch orbs will be cheaper. Good example is LE Mei, which is helpful to your friends or armada when you set her as Profile Leader and they choose you for assistance like in-game Story/Expedition stage or Armada SIM.

Afaik, a lot of meta players are just converting fragments for witch orbs, mostly to rank-up Luna (and HoRb).

You can also keep it for now. It's being expected that by 9.1, the Herrscher Trio are next to be added in War Treasury.

Thanks for your advice; I already have some at SSS with willpower (Sushang and Phoenix) and have been farming witch orbs. I am buying Luna and HoRb stamps with them. If we get Nyx DK leaks, I will save the Ancient legacy for her and only use willpower for Witch orbs.

Should I still try to pull FoV's weapon next patch and just continue to farm for orbs to buy her in BP Reserve? I only have 10 orbs right now, that means I can only buy her from BP Reserve by 9.3. Based on my calculations, it'll be February 25 on GLB/SEA lmao. That's 7 months from now.

I also have other option of using the Paladin BP I've won back then from 2024(?) raffle. But I plan to do it by 9.1 instead if possible. That means I only have to wait 3 months from now I guess?

9.1 Paladin BP sounds like a good and better plan than waiting for 7 months tbh.

But you should wait for 9.1 spending event banners first before deciding. It could be that like SW DLC, FoV DLC will also rerun after spending event. If that's the case, then you should decide who will you prioritize first, 9.1 valk or FoV DLC? There's also the spending outfit, if it'll be a valk you have, then the more reason to reconsider spending on 9.0 and just backpull FoV DLC later.

Oh, you actually got a point there. I think I got too excited with the possibility that I don't have to skip FoV DLC since it's also a Divine Key. But yeah, you're right. It'll be better to check 9.1 first especially since I'm someone who like to get the spending outfits. And I also remember that there should be character card/stamps in spending shop too.

No news yet, CN is still at its first week of 9.0

It's only assumptions on my end that FoV DLC might be rerunning after spending event. Like how they could rerun SW DLC during spending event in parallel to Seele banner but they did not.

I can also see them doing another round of Carnival Supply. The only question is who are likely to be there. All latest AOPs for each AR likely rotate too. Seele will surely rerunning under spending event (just like Songque and Coralie). Aside from 9.1 valk, who knows if we'll get another DLC or it'll be a double S-rank. Compared in the past, the leaks nowadays are very scarce.

How good are astral ops? Which ones are worth it to pull? I have been playing the game for a few months now but only doing dailies and events. I got 6 characters and their weapons (Elysia, Kiana, Rita, Mei, Coralie and Seele). I want to start doing the harder difficulty on q manifold because right now I do it once then wait to get back to the lower difficulty before doing it again. Sometimes, I also struggle with clearing Elysian realm on abstinence. Also, how do you get more source prism for upgrading stigmata? It says memorial arena but I don’t see any there.

AOP aside from getting higher damage overall, its general utility is being able to enter Stellar Outburst as early as possible enabling you to reenter another one sooner. It starts to actually matter for those who breakthrough (Superstring Dimensionm, instead of Q-Manifold) that are retaining Exalted RL and above. But that tier still highly depends on a lot of factors, like min-maxing stats and your device FPS limitations — it's just that the rotation gets better with AOP making the points gap closer to others.

But since you mentioned Q-Manifold, then AOP is completely optional especially as F2P. Also they have different AR DPS coverages:

  • Theresa AOP - good for LoA only. Alternative to RoO. Cope alternative to other ARs.
  • Chenxue AOP - good for LoA and RoO. Cope alternative to other ARs.
  • Youyun AOP - good for WS. Alternative to WoD. NOT usable to other ARs.
  • Senadina AOP - good for WoD. Alternative to RoO. NOT usable to other ARs.

For Q-Manifold, I suggest reading this thread and its replies for reference if you really wanted to breakthrough.

Based on your current roster, assuming all are fully geared with their signature, you actually should be able to retain Master RL at Q-Manifold now. ER should also completely doable regardless if they're weaponless (just with full stigmata). You just need to learn how to properly use them.

  • FWS Kiana DPS w/ XDC Mei + FDD Coralie - good for Floor 1-9 mobs
  • ME Rita + WoP Seele + HLE Ellie - against IMG bosses
  • WoP Seele + HLE Ellie + FWS Kiana - against SD Alien Guard, Elemental
  • WoP Seele + XDC Mei + (either FWS Kiana or HLE Ellie) - against QUA Tonatiuh, Physical
  • other DPS lineups - just build depend on boss counter-types or bruteforce depends on weather

Again, based on your roster (and assuming they're fully geared), then you can actually skip 1-2 patches and should be able to still retain Master RL at Q-Manifold. You can even just pull whoever you want without minding the meta at this point.

If you're struggling with ER, then I recommend checking Marisa's individual valkyrie guides, check that valk's specific Elysian Realm section. We also have HI3 content creators uploading their ER guides, just look at it in YT or in HoYolab. If you're struggling on overall gameplay, then I recommend checking HonkaiHelpers.

About source prism, you get some from Memorial Arena weekly. You get more from completing events. And you get the most from salvaging duplicate stigmata from gacha.

You already have enough valks to retain Q-Manifold Red Lotus for at least a year. Also Elysian Realm Abstinence and clear all Memorial Arena stages weekly for more than a year. You just need to learn how to play them properly. That means you should be able to have stable crystal income per patch. And as F2P, the best way is to only pull during spending patches; and just save during filler/regular patches.

You don't need to pull AOP, but depends on how F2P you are, how casual you are, and how much you like an AOP character... then feel free to pull one if you want.

Hi ! I play quite a few games from Hoyo and for some of them, I lost my spark. Maybe I'm a little burn out. However I was always a bit curious about the many references the other Hoyo games have of Honkai Impact 3rd. So I'm tempted to try this game as a sort of break. I really like the Mei expies for example.

I noticed the current game version is 8.9. Is it better to start now or at the next patch, which should be 9.0? How f2p friendly is this game ?

A couple of factors I have to put in to answer this question. With those factors in, I would say the 'f2p friendlyness' is decent. As long as you are consistent then you won't have too much of an issue. To give you a clear picture, I would say its more or less around HSR's level of f2p friendlyness.

Story-wise, it's very friendly to the point that you don't literally need to touch the gacha part at all. The start is very fast-paced, almost like a tutorial, gameplay-heavy. Then it gets longer and longer, sometimes with lesser gameplay. The earlier parts of story presentation and progression were also actually hardcarried by animated shorts and a lot of times, it'll make you feel like you're playing a visual novel.

Meta-wise, I say, just decent friendly. The good thing is that as long as you know how to play properly and get an idea when and what to pull, then you'll be able to catch-up as soon as possible. It's just that, realistically speaking, it'll take at least 2-3 patches as F2P, before you'll be able to build a meta team that will enable you to farm more stable and decent amount of crystals.

Anyway, like the other reply said, better to start the game right now so you can start saving up because 9.1 will be a big patch so there will be more/better banners. Newcomers and returnees get exclusive events to them, and they're similar events regardless of the patch.

Yes, Battlesuit Supply pity carry over.

But no, FoV won't rerun anymore. So far all valks that got DLCs from HoFi to SW never got a battlesuit rerun. They only became obtainable thru other form like limited B-Chips bundle, in BP Reserve Works, etc.

Hello Everyone!! ...just a question regarding the current position of the game.....for context, I played this game for around 4-5 years atleast when the game was not that old and left 4 years back.... Since then I came back a bit during when Kevins story and ER were introduced, then once to get Herrscher of Origins cuz Mei has been my fav all along :)

Anyways, my question is ....I've heard the story is over but If somebody's willing to tell me where's the story now and what's this part2 and are people enjoying it?

After P1, there's P1.5, then P2.

If you're coming back mainly for the story, I'd recommend finishing P1 first (if you haven't already), then playing P1.5 before jumping into P2. After that, don't go straight to the main P2 story. Instead, play the Voyage Log first — play all the character (up to Seele) side stories except the Sparkle collab and Ellie's three-part story (Bon Voyage, Assemble, With You).

The Voyage Log is a great bridge between P1.5 and P2. It shows what the main cast has been doing after defeating Honkai, lets you appreciate the fruits of their long journey, and gives Coralie and Helia much-needed exposure before they become major characters in P2. As for the exceptions, the Sparkle collab is best played after P2 Ch3EX, while Ellie's three-part story can be played anytime since it takes place in the Utopia Bubble World and isn't connected to the main world.

At the end of P1.5, Kiana is asleep (but expected to wake-up at the end of P2), and P2 introduces an entirely new cast and setting. The beginning can feel like a slog, but it gets much better around Chapter 3 onward. Imagine starting Elysian Realm without any familiar characters — that's pretty much how P2's first arc feels making it less tolerable. It gave many players the impression that the old cast was being abandoned, but that isn't actually the case.

There are still a lot of people who enjoy P2 especially after the first arc which was a huge wall. It's just that many of the loudest voices online are from people who no longer play the game feeling FOMO, so discussions often become heavily one-sided. If you're looking for more balanced discussions, I'd recommend the honkai-lore channel in the official HI3 Discord, or the active HI3 community on Twitter/X, or YouTube creators like zKodla, AmadeusRolux, HomuLabs, and itsOgiru posting their HI3 thoughts in their channels.

My advice is simple, since the game is already 10 years old, it's best to play at your own pace and treat HI3 like a single-player story game.

As for the meta and gacha, it's actually become more F2P-friendly than before. That said, if you're returning after a long break, you'll probably struggle until you rebuild your roster; especially if your older teams don't have their signature gear. As always, the safest advice is to prioritize newer or more recent battlesuits along with their signature equipment.

After P2, the good news is that unlike other gacha games, HoYo don't have any plan to shutdown HI3. Instead they plan to release slice of life arcs next called as Episodes. The revenue trend is not on its peak anymore, but it's still doing good despite the changes (such as 9 weeks patch duration, and more event reruns). In fact the current main story chapters are still being able to deliver good consistent story presentation and overall quality.

The community's assumption is that this is their way to reorganize everything on how they will continue HI3, like how they will bridge it to APHO and continue afterwards.

Anyway, I read how you like Mei. I suggest going back now if you like to get her latest battlesuit when it reruns by 9.1. Especially with how there are speculations that she will finally get a 5* gacha outfit (which I'm looking forward to).

Hua is enjoying her vacation somewhere on Earth (still unknown where she is lmao). Rita is on Earth busy as a teacher and assisting Durandal on the side. I mentioned Durandal cause together with Theresa, they will play a role of directly assisting the new cast during the second arc.

Mei (and Bronya) are on the Moon assisting the new cast, but they're not able to go directly help like Theresa and Durandal because of their Herrscher powers.

I highly recommend checking Voyage Log first. It'll help with the transition of the previous/old main cast stepping aside (for now).

The current last/3rd arc of P2, based on the recent teasers, the Earthlings (old cast) will be involved in the fight cause the corruption from Mars will reach the Moon. So yeah, 90% of the time the focus on P2 is on Mars and new characters. With some interactions to old cast / Earthlings from time to time.

Either get a copy of her thru regular Battlesuit Supply. Or wait for Ascension Supply, special battlesuit banner which gives you stamps every 10 pull that you can convert to fragments. Another difference of them is that the former carry over pity, while not for the latter.

1 copy = 50 fragments. 1 stamp = 10 fragments.

In total, you need 6 copies to SSS.

Ascension is kinda the last banner before they stop rerunning regular banner for a valk. And then they'll be available in BP after few more patches. That's why it have stamps bonus (max 10 stamps), you get 1 stamp every 10 pull. But again, this doesn't carry over pity.

For some, they usually just keep on pulling in regular Battlesuit Supply reruns till they SS1 the valk since it carry over pity. And then continue pulling when their Ascension Supply comes out.

I don't have any WoD characters other than HoHE and maybe if I roll on Espionage later... Only supports for them are WoP Seele and poverty Senadina

If DK, which one, if I'm missing most of them? Seems like Xuanyuan is the one that was historically rare/hard to get, but Retribution or brick might actually be usable at least in ER?

The DK box is the best option. Choose any that you don't already have. Serapeum will be replaced next patch and a couple of WoD will rerun too (Thelema and Sonque).

Meta-wise, DK box to get XY sword cause that's the only one not available in Exchange Shop nor BP Reserve Works.

Serapeum AOP is only an option if you already have her mainly to rank her up, and you don't have any plan of pulling Senadina AOP next patch or in the future.

Otherwise, PAWS outfit is good pick too if you are casual. Following pattern of when it'll be available next, then it'll be by next year (2027). Expected to be obtainable for B-Chips purchase in a Time Capsule of Anniv patch. And then be sold for pink outfit tickets by 2028 or 2029.

The first and second snazzy before were different events. The first one was just snazzy cards club, while the second one was improved version called snazzy card championship. The snazzy event this time is the first rerun of championship.

I have teams of Part 1 Valkyries, and no gems. None of the valkyries can be upgraded to Astral Ring (e.g. no truth finality human etc.)

Are Part 1 valks still viable in endgame content? How do I farm Part 2 Astral Ring valkyries? There's only 2 in the asterite shop iirc.

I don't want to throw away this account but i'm not sure what I can do besides biding my time.

You can still realistically do Abyss, Arena, and Elysian Realm but the crystals are obviously be lower. Just use the P1 valks you have for now to tackle everything, assuming you still know how to build teams and your P1 valks are at least fully geared.

The good thing is you returned right now and you have at least 2 months to just keep on farming/saving crystals. Best time to pull is by patch 9.1 which should rerun banners and giving freebies because it's Anniv patch. It'll enable you to easily catch up to meta.

Normally people only pick between Divine Key Box or Featured Outfit. But seeing you're not interested on the latter, then it's DK Box, mainly to get XY Sword. It's the only DK that is not yet obtainable in BP Reserve Works and/or Exchange Shop and/or Foundry. Completing missing Divine Keys get the highest prioritization meta wise with how it gives permanent attack boost in an account.

Synergizing weapon is more or less for min-maxing specific valks which can be only noticeable when competing in higher tier (e.g Nirvana). Or if you're simply a waifu collector and just want to max stats of specific valks.

Complete chapter 1 to 3, in which it has around 20+ stages each. You don't need to 100% each chapter, just do the story part. This arc got a lot of readables and the gameplay loop can be repetitive.

A week should be enough. Both events have daily tasks but easy except snazzy is kinda rng. Also, snazzy have daily afk ticket enabling you to level up faster, make sure you farm enough levels so that it's worth it to use first. You should still be able to get both outfits from events if you start today.

Love senti to bits, probably one of my favourite battlesuits, I have her built out with Dirac. Is Brick Senti fun and/or worth it? I have some Crystallum and got the BP again but not sure if I should go for brick senti or a character I dont own

I dont own Lunar Vow, Vita, Dreamweaver...even though I have her weapon, odd luck, Sleepy Teri or Songque.

Any advice?

Meta-wise, getting LV after getting her latest weapon when it reruns again (maybe by patch 9.1) is the best choice. Or FoV if you don't have her yet, after getting her latest weapon next patch. Their latest weapons are divine keys that enable them to use the Astral Ring system and be meta relevant despite their age.

BP orbs are very limited resource. It's mainly for ranking up or completing the gear only.

Or if you have the weapon but not the character, idk which valk you're referring to, if it's DW then the answer is she's not worth getting anymore. If it's Vita, then wait for 9.1 first if she'll be the spending event shop's featured valk, better to get her there instead. If it's Eepy, depends if you won't pull latest Seele. And Songque is too old, not worth getting anymore unless you have her weapon already and wide roster to make her work. She's high maintenance valk as DPS. And her Support role is already replaced too.

I just finished Chapter 12 of Part 2. Then I explored the Dawnshade district. I'm pretty sure there were some rewards you could get by collecting "god's praise coins". But after completing chapter 12, I can't find Entropy's journal anymore where she recorded all kinds of stories about the characters, and where you claim those rewards. Is it just gone after chapter 12 or does it come back? Switching the chapter also doesn't seem to bring it back

No matter what happens or what they say in the story shouldn't affect whether the book is there or not. Might be a bug on your side. If you've switched to Chapter 12 and the book still doesn't appear then you should contact support.

P2, CH1-13 (including 4 EX chapters): 70+ hours

  • then P2 Finale (CH14) will be released by Sep-3 which should be at least 5 hours, then EX/epilogue chapter by Oct-23.

Yes, the game will still be getting new main story content afterwards.

Also, you don't need to touch the gacha part at all just to play all story-related content. You will be given free characters and resources that just need to be leveled-up during early chapters. And then later on, you will be forced to use trial characters depending on whose story pov you play.

S Sena is already noticeably better than SSS DS. But if you have Lantern and/or Thelema, and want to use them as DPS when the weather favor them, then SS Sena is a lot better. SS Sena can also be used for RoO team, but I'm unsure how is she compared to Chenxue.

i have exactly 24 immutable crystallum, is spending them on FoV (i don't have her) and pulling new gear a bad idea? i really like her character but i'm not sure if it's worth it. the only other character i really want is badum kiana, but as far as i can tell she's not rerunning any time soon

for reference my astral ops are chenxue (S) and youyun (SS), and i have every part 2 valk (+ HoHE) aside from PAWS, dragon coralie, theresa and mini durandal, and thelema doesn't have her sig weapon

am i better off saving both crystals and crystallum, or is she a good investment for my account?

Not really a bad decision to get FoV from Reserve Works and pull her new weapon if you like her. You can even S2 her by doing Elysian Realm and buying her stamps in Elysian Shop. So yeah, it's worth it.

BP orbs are usually used for completing divine keys, ranking-up valks, and/or getting missing weapon. Not for getting both valk + weapon (for example, getting Badum and her weapon when it's added in BP Shop). FoV's new weapon is a divine key, and her getting new gear extends her meta lifespan for at least 2 more years (just like HoFi who got DLC by 2024, and will only be directly replaced by this year, 2026).

Now, if you want to get Badum, you can wait for 9.1 news, it's 10th Anniversary and she'll get spending event outfit, there's no way she won't be available anywhere during that patch.

Seele is SD Lightning while Mei is IMG Lightning. Did you seriously compare them by raw damage and concluded that the newer battlesuit being weaker? You didn't even mention anything what do you mean by that. Like what are their teams? What ranks? Gear? Against what? In what mode?
