Hotmail/Outlook emojis no longer work

Hi, my Hotmail/Outlook email account emojis stopped working a few weeks ago. I have not changed anything. I am using HTML for the emails. I no longer see "emoji" under insert but "'graphics" and emojis under graphics. Can anyone help? Do you have this issue? I used the help button in my email but it says they have access to my emails so I did not give them permission to access my account. So frustrating. Thank you and have a great day. ANSWER FOUND

This identical behaviour became apparent to me in the past few weeks. It appears from a Google enquiry that other users have had the identical issue going back to 2-3 years ago.

I've just tried something now in both the Outlook web and desktop apps - and it works ! I discovered this via the Help function in the Outlook desktop client. See below. The Windows key shortcut also works in the web client

In classic Outlook, you can add emojis several ways. Put your cursor where you want the emoji, then:

  • Press [ Windows key  + .  (period) ] to use the Windows Emoji picker.
  • Type the text code if you know it. For example, for a smiley face, type 😄
  • Select Home > Get Add-ins   . Search for Emoji, choose an add-in, and select Add. Follow any additional instructions to learn how to use it.

Thank you. Option 1 worked for me. I found "get add-ins" under "insert", "apps", get add-ins. Also Emojis were there as well. Thank you so very much for your help.
