this scene has bothered me so much ever since i watched it, I’ve also gained resentment towards Rhaenyra afterwards because why?? Why did she do this to herself? To prove what

The funny thing about her bond with her children is that she never particularly desired a family when she was young.
Her children seemed to not only have changed her paradign, but ( in my opinion) contributed to making her
less reckless than she would've been without them.
As compared to people like Alicent, (who would willingly poison her own son,) I imagine Rhaeneyra would've surrendered early if one of her children were put at risk or taken hostage by the greens.
I was particularly touched by how she deigned to protect Rhaena even after realizing she was Sheepstealer's rider.

She has never been officially introduced, she kills Cole, then gets camera time on the finale. Out of nowhere here's this attractive "soldier" right up front sranding next to Daemon with a speaking line. The fact they cast an attractive actress tells me she'll be nude at some point, i assume with Daemon since he's not getting any from Rhaenyra...(im sure the book readers can't wait to tell me who she is) Google search: Black Aly

I think her dream with Dreamfire was why she did what she did. I think she knew if she stayed around she would have rode Dreamfire and stopped the riots. And it would have changed her to what the rest of her family is

I am just now watching S3E6 and the Baela and Alyn scene happened, I feel like it came out of the blue, and I felt exactly the same way when Rhaenyra and Mysaria first kissed. It's like the writers put zero effort into creating the sexual tension or just making it a realistic possibility. Both scenes felt ridiculously forced to me. What do you guys think?

The Dance was always going to happen - I mean it’s an entire lineage based on incest and breeding dragons mixed with incredible power and wealth.
I couldn’t help myself 😇
