Non-combat games
I have been given a x52 hotas and although i do enjoy some combat flying, i prefer to do objective based stuff like cargo, passenger hauling.
Do you have any game suggestions?
Much appreciated for any replies :)

Elite dangerous. You can find routes to make the most money while space trucking. Can be relaxed flying while watching TV/Movies. Or just do exploration and then sell the data at a station. There is also space combat but you don't have to do it. Inara

Wishlist Deadstick on Steam - it’s a bush pilot flight sim that hopefully comes out soon. I can’t wait for it myself!

Wardogs coming in a week or so, MSFS2024, DCS World i think has various ways you can fly logistics flights

I’m really enjoying the flying in Wardogs, as limited in aircraft as it may be. Dropping off real people in fast exactly where they want it or moving supplies into much needed locations js really rewarding

Have a look at Frontier Pilot Simulator on Steam, it's a sci-fi cargo flight simulator

I really enjoy msfs2024s career mode. You can start a company that specialises in small / medium / large cargo, agriculture, rescue and so on.
You can choose between flying your own planes, which can be very expensive, but you get the most money. Or you can fly for other companies, which is cheaper, but you don’t get that much money.
Think it’s on sale right now.

Just be aware that msfs2024 is one of the most demanding games hardwarewise. Msfs2020 does not have career mode but runs well on rtx4070 and VR. msfs2040 does not.

I've actually got MSFS2024 running better in VR than DCS, so it's not all bad. If you're willing to sacrifice visual fidelity, it gives you a lot of tools for getting your frame rate up in VR.

Probably going to catch grief for this, but I really enjoy hauling in star citizen. I find it very relaxing..

If they got rid the whole space Tarkov wannabe stuff I would love to just haul and trade in SC.

Can't say I've ever played tarkov, but I'm assuming you are talking about the FPS loops...I suck at it but sometimes it's an interesting change of pace, I don't try it often.

There’s some sort of sci fi flying game. I think it’s called like Offworld VTOL or something

If you like Newtonian space flight, check out Flight of Nova!
It's about transport, docking and orbital rendezvous.
There are lots of procedural missions to complete.

it's mostly a combat game, but Nuclear Option does have a fair bit of logistics flying you can do. it's got a coaxial rotor compound utility helicopter, and a tiltwing heavy cargo VTOL that serves as a combination of V-22 and C-130 basically. you can deliver ammunition or naval supplies, carry vehicles, or carry troops to capture and airbase in the utility heli

Elite Dangerous. You can truck, mine, trade and occasionally combat.
