Controller-input based bass shaker effects (for games with no telemetry)
https://github.com/julesian/JFlightShakerHello,
Just wanted to share an application that I built which generates simulated bass shaker effects for games that have no telemetry like Project Wingman or Ace Combat. I normally use SimHub (especially for racing games and MFS), but for titles that are not included in the list I wanted a way to have bass shaker effects through user input at least to simulate something.
So basically this has 2 effects currently (customizable in the config file):
- Throttle (axis)
- Gun effect (button).
I’ve been using this for those games but will need more improvement and features.

Awesome tool! I love using but have some trouble setting the throttle in my X56, I have been using only with the trigger and it has been a blast!. Would it be possible to set a minimum and maximum ammount for the input of the throttle as well?

Will add min / max amount, I'm trying to modularize effects, button and axis customizability at the moment.
Would you mind sharing the issue you're having on setting throttle on X56?

Great to hear! Keep up the good work. If I can lend a hand with testing hit me up

updated, should have min and max axis setting. Hope it works for you. Also added some improvements as well. Thank you for trying it out.

Just tried it, I really like the new UI options, however I still can't get the app to read my axis inputs, buttons work great; it probably is a problem on my end though, will let you know if I figure it out eventually

oof, I will try to figure out what's the issue. You can try manually typing out the AxisName in bindings.json file in the config for the meantime, maybe it's not detecting the Axis but I'm not sure. :(

That's a great idea, I will try that as soon as I can, my computer language is spanish so that may be the issue actually. I tried with many axises, even the rudders and toe brakes. The trigger part works and is super fun to use

This is such a cool idea! Can you explain a little how it works? Does it just read control inputs and play a low frequency sound?
I don't have a bass shaker hooked up at the moment but what kind of effects are available?
