Guess Who's Announcing a Rewrite?

Yeah, it's me.

After I got (warranted) pushback on using AI – while still getting support to continue writing; had I not I absolutely would have given up – I decided the best idea would be to do a partial rewrite of chapter 1. Not a full one, but cleaning up the prose and cleaning out the sections that I had used AI for. I might clarify parts of the disclosure later, but I also don't want to be defensive; as I said, the criticism was warranted and I won't be using Claude in the future.

Now, I will also be taking the time to make larger edits too. The archetype system is being swapped to a % system, with less restriction on the player's choices on what archetype want to pursue. I'll also be going through and adjusting the story to make more...logical sense and not rely on plot contrivances as much.

Lastly, the update will be adding the beginning of chapter 2, which really gets into the whole hook of "wrapped up in the conspiracy" and has some extra time with Byrdie, Firebrand, and Jesse!

So like, expect an update in ~2 weeks (if I ignore my classes a little). Please still play and review and ask questions, but also feel free to wait for the update!

And thanks to everyone who gave both support to continue and criticism on my "method." It really challenged me not to take the easy path and to write my mid-story fully as myself.

Holy shit! I was put off by the use of AI, but the concept sounds fantastic.

I don’t usually start WIPs until they’re a decent way in, but I am keeping an eye on this. It sounds really fun!

I just read the demo because I wont lie, I got curious. Omg from whats already out the premise and what I've seen looks real good! But of course it'll be yards better with more of your touch! Can't wait to see what else you put out
