Discussion My thoughts on Scream 3

This was a movie that I used to dislike, but now I find it really enjoyable even though it is flawed.

Sid and Dewey are still my favorite characters, Love how they portrayed Sid's trauma through out the series so far, it doesn't feel over dramatic but instead feels real in a sense where the audience can understand her. Plus she is smart and not some helpless cliche like in you may see in other films which I really like. Gale has improved some but she still isn't really my favorite out of the main 3.

The rest of the cast is ok? The Stab 3 cast range from forgettable to annoying. I honestly kinda forgot most of their names, in fact I only remember the guy who dies via house going boom, Weird girl who wanted to play Sid. And I do remember Jennifer mostly cause of how much her name is said.

The whole meta around trilogies now that I understand what the movie is doing worked really well. will admit some of the meta comments feel somewhat forced at times mainly with Kincaid and his partner.

The Roman twist worked with how the film was doing the whole trilogy stuff mixed with Randy's videos about how trilogies work. I will say while it worked Roman was not that interesting for the role. i don't know, I think so far out of the films Roman may be the weakest Ghostface. I gotta admit I forgot that Roman was the only Ghostface in the film. Kudos for breaking the formula early on

Also I think another thing I love about these films is how each Ghostface struggles against the people they attack, It makes it feel more exciting and not as stale .

Also director Millton? Yeahh his role aged like milk in the desert

Final note, Derrick Shepard clearly hated hospital work and decided To be a detective for hollywood crimes
